you really dont need allat to start. the basic amazon gear you find for cheap will do just fine. Also, just a bike that you are comfortable riding for the duration of your ride is fine.

@@MichaelKessler-uv3dz well the bike alone seems to be pretty expensive, its a specialized- diverge and its about 4k ish pounds and maybe another 1 or 2k for the camping setup. but it can be infinitely cheaper and better if you just want a very good touring bike for travelling instead of this, you can just go for a surly bike and everything can be done under 2k
Id actually be really interested in making it work for that much. I wanna bike around america but find the prices of bikes for this daunting. Any suggestions and insights? @@aryanram02
Chairs are actually a shout, they bring so much comfort and enjoyment to a trip. It's about removing useless weight, not useful weight. Similar to how even if you budget my spending £10 less a month it's worth it
@@tjravend Exactly, and i thought that cutting the toothbrush was more for convenience purposes rather than weight saving. It makes the items in the toiletry bag more similar sized.
