To the biker at 7:59, you are supposed to use the entire on ramp and use the zipper merge when it's this congested. There is a reason for all of that space. It helps remove congestion from the ramp entry. If everyone works together, allowing cars to merge and merging properly (either speeding up or slowing down when it's your turn, then we could actually see less traffic. By not using the entire ramp and not allowing people to use it, you my friend are actually slowing things down for everyone.
You are supposed to enter when it is safe, not at the very end where you are forced to break in line. Since the semi was kind enough to let several cars in at once, I took the opportunity to merge on the freeway without barging in line like an a-hole. Have you ever heard of being respectful? As far as the ramp entry congestion goes, well everybody crowding in like sardines on the entrance ramp, waiting at the end, like you say, is a recipe for a traffic collision. Your comment about "if everybody works together..." is about as delusional as it gets. When do you recall being on the road and everybody worked together? Yeah, that was never ago. Oh, by the way, that entire ramp is so that you can get up to speed for the freeway there homie. NOT to purposely go to the end of it so that someone is forced to move over for you. Go back to traffic school.
@@edgeofentropy3492 you can go when ever it is safe, but jof tak is right. you are supposed to go to the end of the ramp and zipper merge from there "when traffic is congested". it helps fasilitate the process of knowing who is next into the zipper merge since the lane ends. but if traffic is at normal flow, then you want to enter when it is safe but like you said as early as posible to have plenty of take off room.
@@50shadesofgandalf92 When was the last time everyone "worked together" on the street at a zipper merge? Yeah, the answer is never. A little tidbit of information to you: That congestion, on that particular part of the freeway, is CAUSED by drivers going all the way to the end because they are not satisfied with merging sooner. Plus, other freeway users use that merge lane to pass other motorists...illegally. They go all the way to the end of the on ramp and force their way in causing the traffic behind them to become worse. When you combine both parties, you get a good ole bottle neck That is thanks to people going all the way to the end of the on ramp instead of being courteous.
@@edgeofentropy3492we are talking about when traffic is really slow, if you enter a highway that is almost stopped, you go to the end of the lane. To let as many car get into the merging lane. If you enter a highway that is stopped in traffic. Don't stop to merge right away, Go to the end of the lane. So people behind you can also enter when it is safe for them.
Bruh the clip at 2:40, not sure you can get really mad when cars are understandably bothered that you're street racing in broad daylight lol. Just let them go, why are you acting like you're doing nothing wrong? EDIT: I finished watching the clip and they did exactly that. Lol. Good stuff.
@@scuffedclips1 Most bikers support lane filtering, of which the definition explicitly states the use of a motorbike or bicycle, not a motor vehicle. Nonetheless, both the bikers and the car should have known better.
8:38 is the correct action. All vehicles should go as far as possible in the empty lane before merging. You're the taxpayer that paid for those roads so stop leaving them unused.
@@SoloPilot6 nah youre supposed to use the entire lane, more cars fit on the street and its the most efficient way of merging. At the end of the line you do zipper merging
@@icy-sq1ko Nope. The entire lane is there to be used for merging -- what if you get all the way to the end and there's no opening? You have to stop, force your way in, or go off the road, none of this is efficient.
@@SoloPilot6 where i’m from you have to let one vehicle merge in front of you, lila a zipper. each vehicle from the main lane has to let one from the merging lane in. Not sure how you guys do it, it’s required by law here
@@jj04974 it's exactly the same where Im from. there is nooooo way we would NOT use a empty road like that till the very end of it haha not even a law here but it's just a driving common sense that almost everyone has and then merge the way u said
8:30 that is called a zipper merge and the most efficient way is to use all the road not to immediately jump over. Granted I get over ASAP and also hate it when someone uses the zipper merge how you are spose too lol
It's the idea of cutting in line is bad being drilled into us constantly growing up and then no one telling us about zipper merging... you basically had to read about it in the handbook and retain that knowledge of the thing you read one time
02:30 , again you are guys are illegally street racing and slowing traffic down and then get angry and try become road police gang when drivers had enough of your BS.. Do your pulls on your own time and let traffic be..
7:57 Ummm, NO. The backups come from people who slow down so much to try to merge as soon as the dashed line appears such as you. That stops all the vehicles behind you rather than keeping it moving to merge easily when there is an opening or someone slows SLIGHTLY on the highway to allow a merge. If both parties were to do both of these things merging would be much more seamless. Instead we get people like you who slow down to crawling speeds to get in which leads to dangerous entering of the highway because you're not matching speed and also people on the highway being idiots who don't want to allow someone to merge for some reason.
Mirror smash was too much. Biker is a clown himself racing on a public road. Guess what, slowing down in front of traffic just to floor it again isn’t something you do. No wonder the clown got passed on the right.
@@RideFree317 there sure is. My best guess is they were racing and slowing down traffic and the car had enough of their behavior and passed them on the right.
1:44 yea… the bikers have no issues lane splitting but if a car does it to them they smash the mirror like this prick. She passed him just as he would pass her if another vehicle was beside her vehicle. Seen guy flying up freeway about 130-140mph and I switched lanes for no reason just to throw him off…. 😂
I'm a biker. Plenty of people make mistakes on the road. So many of these kinds of videos on this channel and other similar channels just show a sense of entitlement from 'bikers'. You're not on a private racetrack. You need to be aware of human error just like any other driver. Be a smarter biker.
10:01 - The Liquor Chronicles - Someone Does This At least Once A Day! Guy Pulls Out & Doesn't Look: Why is it so difficult to ease on the throttle and give the car the little extra to pass over in front of you - you are not the traffic, your a part of the traffic and should be helpfull to your fellow roadsusers.
Metal sheets are scary AF. I had a junk truck enter the interstate in front of me once, and a piece of sheet steel flew out of the truck and "helicoptered" about 30 feet in the air right above me. Scarier than any car that's ever pulled out in front of me. I thought I was dead for a second.
0:44 most of the time the bike stabilizes itself on its own after a slide (IF the rider doesn't panic, that's usually what causes it to go down). Still, in a construction zone, hold back a bit because you can expect sand here.
Very true, I was riding through country roads (take me home) and a corner was covered in wet leaves. Rear wheel slid out but thankfully grabbed the the road again
7:32 that's a 125cc bike riding on probably the only road available to them. They don't get much faster than 60mph... and people just don't seem to understand that when they're up on your ass expecting you to gap them or something. Let us give you the pass or pass us up safely (indicating) without acting like a total dickhead... - a 110cc rider
That's me, and you're not far off. I've got the whole video and explanation on my channel, I had been letting people pass as they caught up to me, but the first I saw this guy behind me was when I looked in my mirrors and saw him 3 feet off my rear tire, pulled off and let him go by.
It seems to be an American problem only, maybe also UK, but in Denmark where I drive my MC, I have never had an issue with any cars. They look out for us, make space for us, hold back for us and let us ride and have fun. Ofc sometime they will race us, but we can choose if we want. I love riding in Denmark, and I feel really safe.
This comment section scares me! How do so few people know how a zipper merge works? Anyone that drives on a highway uses these every time they get on the highway with very few exceptions, and yet very few people seem to know how to use them. If it's bumper to bumper you're SUPPOSED to go all the way to the end of the lane to merge. That woman did nothing wrong!
Smash a mirror and pray they don't have dash cam. If they do, you be hunted down and be charged with hit and run, and arrested. After posting bond, cost of attorney, fines, damages and your licenses suspended, how does it feel now?
5:18 I have personal experience like that a lady pulled out in front of me I bailed off my bike and she rolled onto my arm it was on there for 10 minutes straight My arm went completely numb I thought it broke but it was completely fine afterwards
I believe the biker was leaning left but he did not counter-steer the handle to the right while doing so, which caused the front wheel to suddenly get traction and he tried to correct it by steering it to the right when it was a little too late.
1:50 To threaten someone that puts life and limb at risk for "FUN" Is likely someone you shouldn't provoke. The car was an A-hole, and the biker returned the favor. Both are childish. but adrenalin will cloud reason.
the tesla one is sad bc last year on decembar my mom was taking pictures of a house and a van hit her she hit the ground and the van ran over her left arm im sorry for bad spelling
2:10 -- You can tell that this is another little rookie who doesn't have a problem when she is lanesplitting through traffic, but gets her tampon in a knot when someone else does it. Then she slaps the car's mirror and runs away, giggling like a 6-year-old and saying "nyahh, nyahh, nyahh!," thinking that the grownups will be soooo proud of her!
@@schrodingersmechanic7622 uh no. First they were slowing down traffic and street racing, second the rider crossed a gore line to merge and then gets mad when people have had enough of their nonsense. They should take it to the track or at the very least stop blocking the traffic. The road isn't their personal track.
2:55 I just don't understand why you don't need to have a front plate in America (coming from an Australian) For situations like this I think it would really help.
It depends on which state you are registered in. The car that was in front of the motorcyclist appears to have a Florida plate. Florida is one of 19 states that does not require a front license plate. However, there are some people that ignore this, regardless.
As if the guy who hit the oil slick didn’t take it up with the government and get them to pay for his bike damages it’s totally their fault for not cleaning it properly
To many immature people riding motorcycles these days. Granted a lot of people regardless of what they are driving just don't pay attention. I rode for years and it's very dangerous on the roads. However there is zero excuse for a rider to smash a mirror. Common sense states if you think you need to inform another driver to use there mirror, why would you smash it. Again it's the stupidity of the immature people.
Sooner than later these smashing mirrors cowards will end up under a truck and it will be well deserved. You don’t touch someone’s property when yours hasn’t been touched.
Ive been riding for 2 years and this shit nrver happens to me loll😂😂😂 i plan ahead, dont drive too stupid and assume the drivers are all morons and no major issues....
I think motorcycling is really cool. However, in addition to many stupid car drivers, there are also many really careless motorcyclists who risk the lives of others and then do not understand what happens when something happens. something like clib2 is simply zero. clip three obviously has a motto bike that is too heavy, he rides very unsteadily the whole time and then overelevated. if you have a motorcycle, then damn it, master it 200% before you start doing stupid things with it. then 2:42. there are clearly the motorcyclists in the wrong. it is often the case that as soon as more drivers drive to the show off, all lanes are occupied. that is not correct . so the driver has no choice but to overtake like this
The funny part about people that hate bikers is they dont know who is under the helmet .Had a drunk lady road rage at this dude but little did she know he was a off duty police officer .Not all sport biker riders are kids 😂😂😂The way they had this lady arrested was wild man .She learned a valuable lesson
Well the one who is merging the highway is in the wrong but also right. So he is wrong bc the logical way to get on to the highway in traffic is drive all the way to the front and basically go to a space between two cars and the the next car goes behind the one car you got in front off so like a zipper. But he is in the right about the first car.
I love how that bikers calls that blonde girl a Karen, meanwhile he acts like one and obviously doesn't know how to drive. Every good driver knows you start merging at the end of the merging line if the traffic is clogged. At the end you use zip rule for the merge. By merging in the beginning of the line or in the middle you clogg the line and the rest of the line is being not used - so it actually makes the traffic queue even longer then it actually has to be. It's a joke that biker acts like a entitled Karen and knows shit about driving.
I dont think slapping someones side mirror deserve that imagine if the car owner is having a bad day and decided to gun you down?? You think its worth your life????? Just be thankful he didnt hit you and your still alive 🤣
5:08 - 713_KVN - I CRASHED MY BIKE : I don't really get it, - why didn't you go easy on the throttle when you saw there was en oilslick on the road, - it's expected that oil is very greasy - Do you ever use your brain - if you have one?
im gonna be real alot of the situations in these videos are the bikers fault. like obviously you shouldnt drive 70 through a narrow street. obviously you shouldnt cover the whole road and get upset when people try to get past. drive safely and respect everyone on the road
@ALCLCF ride like a decent human. if you struggle with understanding that you shouldnt drive. i ride myself and i cant imagine myself doing stupid shit like that
