In the campgrounds just up the hill from the bathrooms is a little creek jump. As going uphill look to the left of the run. It’s fun. They took out our one fun rock drop downhill from the bathrooms but added so other stuff. At bottom of that rock garden keep going straight and there were some guys building a creek jump there too. Not sure if they finished it- I was there when they were just starting to build it. Ive been thinking of doing the ride from Lake Fairfax to Great Falls so thanks for this.
Cool, Thx for this intel! At the end of lake fairfax ride to Colvin Run, cross Leesburg pike (route 7) and ride out to Difficult Run stream valley park. Once at the park stay on gravel pass parking area and you see trail into woods, stay left. it’s mostly gravel trail except for couple sections. Went mainly for relaxed riding and beautiful scenery.
I don’t see Difficult Run listed as a trail in Lake Anne. Is this the trail called Rails to River? Starts at Michael Faraday and connects to Colvin Run at Hunter Mill?

Try suggesting place and time to ride and ask who can join. Under current situation not many people are able to ride and the few who are able to ride are ordered to ride solo (by their big boss!). Luckily these rides took place early March when situation was bit relaxed.
