About 50 years ago my mother would load up the wagon with a handful of the sibs and head north from Indy to Forest Park. Her father worked the railroad when he was still alive so it as a sentimental location to take us brats to get worn out at the park. 5 decades later I occasionally cycle through there with nothing but pleasant memories. The railway was great times but I’m loving the addition of the Nickel Plate to our fantastic trail system up here.
