@@pharrohku5922 If you are on Facebook, you might want to join this group and post your issue there: facebook.com/groups/1136802453086982 The owner of Biktrix seems to watch the group fairly closely. Otherwise, there is probably a local machine shop that could TIG weld it back together for you. Good luck!

You have so much helpful info packed into this one video. I have yet to take my FS Pro 2 off road, even though it is designed for hunting/exploring, climbing and towing. Thanks for sharing :)

I ordered one just like this with the Wren up grades. Front forks and rear hub. My frame is the 17 inch and I having it painted bright yellow. I also got the jones handlebar and dropper seat post. And the extra battery. I was wondering if you ever had any trouble with pedal striking the ground when leaning into a curve. Thanks for your video. I hope you make another video of your bike. I should be getting mine mid-April 2024.

Thanks for watching! Sounds like you have tricked yours out nicely. I may well do another video on my bike in the next couple weeks. I have an issue with the fork that I need to work out. As for the pedal hitting the ground during turns, no, I don't have an issue with that. If I am doing any serious riding where that might be an issue, my inside foot is always up so it is away from the ground. Enjoy the new bike!

The brakes dont normally sound like this. Theyre just cold and wet. So is your arse after going through the puddles of sleet. That is not really a winter bike. It's a bike for summer and fall; for gunning up and down trails. You'd have been better with something with fenders for these conditions and any rainy days. If there's space in the garage, you may want to consider a Biktrix Ultra Duo, r similar.

Well, it's not like it is winter all year round here. 🙂 I took it out other times in dry, fluffy snow and it was a blast. For the riding I do, it is fine. I don't commute on it or anything. Thanks for watching!

Now you can buy a Honda 150cc dual sport for under $3,000. Nice bike . hope it's been ok and no broken chains.😁👏

I couldn't do it without a rear rack at least.

Thank you for the detailed in-depth video. I am thinking of ordering the Ultra FS Pro v3 with range extender and all the bells and whistles like yours. I am 6 feet tall and 220lbs. How has it been for you on and off road so far? Thanks again!

It moves just fine. The only time I have had issues is in some particularly nasty snow that had a layer of near ice in the middle. I would recommend fenders. Fat tires throw a lot at your face. Don't think of it as a nimble mountain bike, or you'll be disappointed. It is heavy, long, and can't turn as tight as a regular bike. So, if your plan is to do technical, tight trails, it's not up to it. If you have decent trails, it will take you anywhere until the battery runs out. You can pedal without the battery, but it is a workout. With all that said, I enjoy the bike and it suites my riding style on rough trails just fine! I have had a blast on it! How do you like the bike so far? How many miles on a charge have you gone?
@DavinDesborough
@DavinDesborough Год назад
I have never run it out of battery, but I tend to only go a few miles. I just take it out for quick rides around my house when I have a few minutes. Hopefully this spring I will make time for a longer ride. With all that said, I am very happy with it so far. It is a bit of a tank, so I would avoid it if you are looking for a nimble bike.

Hey! I'm curious when you actually got this bike, it looks like a slightly older version of the FS Pro. I just got my FS Pro 3 delivered last week and the frame is slightly different (the top tube to seat tube re-enforcement configuration is different on mine. Also mine has the newer version of the Bafang motor that is NOT user programable (I had mine "unlocked" as a purchase option. I have yet to test its capabilities). You mentioned living in the North East; I live on the North Shore in Mass. This is my first full suspension bike, and my 2nd Ebike. I'm not a young pup anymore and love that the Ebikes give me back some of my youth. My first Ebike is a 750W rear Hub and I'm looking forward to unleashing what this 1000W Mid Drive can do!

I received this back in July 2022, then just didn't get the video done promptly. Mine is a v2 and I guess I will need to update the video descriptions to clarify if there is a v3 out already. Thanks for calling that to my attention. I feel the same about the the "giving back some youth" bit. I'm getting old, but I still like to have fun! I am in NH and have enough woods around me that is nice to just jump on the bike and go when I want. The bike is a bit of a beast (size and weight) when compared to a normal mtn bike, but I am getting used to that. The only thing I feel I need to do is get some fenders for it. I was not prepared for how much dirt a fat front tire can throw at your face! Hope you enjoy your bike!

@@DavinDesborough have you seen this guys Biktrix videos? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fnIqTGhmgoo.html He also got an FS Pro this past year and I believe he also lives in NH. I'm down in Gloucester MA, and I also have plenty of ridable trails just down the street! I think I might have to invest in a fender set as well. I've got to get out of the "fair weather mentality" and get out when its muddy! You should post more videos, there aren't enough of them featuring this bike. I'd love to learn from your experiences. Be safe!
