I came up here by chance. but this prayer had a nostalgic effect me. I was born and brought up in a Muslim mohalla, and though brahmin, we all have cordial relationship. in my childhood, we heard such sweet sound of this prayer, Azaan.. and mind u, till date we haven't heard it again living in same place. but today after hearing this voice and the feelings, I can definitely say, never again would I be able to hear such sweetness in anywhere around my area. Rest aside all, I'm a fan of feelings, and this one has definitely won me over... Such emotions.. Great.. my fair old childhood memories alived... Kudos Bilal, the first Baangi Sahab as they call here, the person who calls the Azaan.

@@TheSlaveOfAllah1992 I just checked and found out that I was wrong. I posted this comment 2 years ago. I wasn't too knowledgeable at the time. There is no proof that the sun was held back for anyone except the Prophet of Allah Yoosha‘ ibn Noon (عليه السلام). In fact the Prophet ﷺ stated that this did not happen to anyone other than Yoosha‘ ibn Noon (عليه السلام). This is seen in the hadeeth (narration) of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), according to which the Prophet ﷺ said: _“One of the Prophets went out on a campaign… and he approached a town at the time of ‘Asr (late afternoon) prayer, or close to that time. He said to the sun: You are under the command of Allah and I am under the command of Allah. O Allah, halt it for me for a while. So it was halted for him until Allah granted him victory.”_ Source: al-Bukhari (3124) and Muslim (1747).
