As a designer/developer hybrid, the artist in me wants things to be pretty and inviting, and the programmer wants things to be efficient and clever. Those inclinations are all good things, but none of them is a good compass for finding the right way forward. I come back and watch this every few weeks to remind myself to stay focused on what really matters: the people who will use the things we create.
