Where is this club?

Hi Kevin, the club is gone now. The building is still there (boarded up), located in Sunset Beach (Sunset Beach was annexed by nearby Huntington Beach in 2011). It was several large restaurants over the years, notably Sam's Seafood for a long time. During the Kubis band's tenure there it was called Don the Beachcomber. This recording was the very last performance at Don's. Tom Kubis' band now plays a few miles north in Long Beach at The Gaslamp, usually on the 4th Monday of the month. Worth a visit if you're ever in town. World-class musicians every time.

That's 4 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Nice piano intro to the main song though.
