I still wanted to trade Sam though. My words were “Sam needs to sit for at least a season” he did and it worked 😂 I would have traded back and taken the top QB on the board. Fields, jones, trask etc. all would have been better than Zach. Especially when you add 3 1sts ☺️

The real problem is how the league treats young quarterbacks. They just throw them out to the wolves, and the Jets have shown no ability to develop young quarterbacks in a long time. Geno is now a great success story in Seattle, but took him 9 years in the league to achieve it. I think Sam will probably be similarly successful as Geno. I wouldn't be surprised in Zach has a similar trajectory and has success after 7-10 years in the league. Most of these young qbs need to sit for like 3-5 years before they start as was done in the past.

We literally hired a "QB guru" to try and rescue Sam's career. The Jets felt better about Sam after 2 years than they ever did about Zach after 2 years. I hate that man. Really hope he finds a way to be in the AFC... Got a feeling he might be going to be Bengals but also part of me thinks he might stay away from the NFL for good...

Weird way to look at fandom. I like plenty of players and root for them to do well except when playing the Jets. "Either you're in or your out." Either you're pregnant or you're not." Why not sometimes I like pepperoni on my pizza and sometimes I don't want pizza at all and sometimes there's more to life than black or white. I hate Josh Allen because he plays for the Bills. Doesn't mean I didn't appreciate his performance last night. Aaron Rodgers, QB of the NY Jets, agrees with me, as he said on PMS. Are we full out on Rodgers because he said his good friend Josh Allen played really well and it was fun to watch? Or does the world maybe have a little more color?

I'm a Jets fan and I had it with Darnold and him seeing "ghosts." If you can't make it in NY then Eff off. I welcomed Zach W. over Darnold. Saleh better stop his love fest with players and get some Parcells' fire or we will fold when it gets rough. A head coach is supposed to get everyone, players and coaches, on point. Hackett has impressed me lately though. Surprise. Surprise.

Belichek is no expert on QB play. If Mo Lewis hadn’t knocked Bledsoe into tomorrow, Tom Brady would still be on the Patriots bench. Just look at how he handled the post-Brady era - where’s Mac Jones and why didn’t he develop? And one more thing, people around the league hate Belichek. Why doesn’t he have a coaching gig right now?

Morning, Greenbean. Jets will always have detractors. Bill Belichick is serial cheater. He shouldn't be allowed to coach again. Darnold was with the Jets longer than with any other team. Then he was due a substantial pay raise without having good seasons. The GM decided to start all over again with a rookie QB.

I liked Sammy Darnold , but he was in a bad situation here as far as a coaching staff and roster. There was very little he could’ve done to succeed in NY and I had a feeling he would end up with another team playing for a playoff spot every year.

Are we really going to pretend Mike white was ever better than jimmy g? Jimmy has 94 career touchdowns with almost a 2-1 TD to INT ratio and a 67-68% completion percentage……Mike white has 7 total starts and 9 touchdowns to 13 interceptions and a 63% completion percentage. Please never put those two in the same sentence again. Jimmy G is closer to Tom Brady than Mike white is close to Jimmy G. Stiddham has been a more productive player than Mike has as well. Just look at the stats.
