This piece of film, better than perhaps any I have seen, captures the essence of what it was like to just sit nearby and listen to Bill. There's just a hint of tension in the air and all present are eagerly watching his hands, waiting for him to kick up the next tune.
Joe Newberry Yeah, I wasn't sure. You can't see him very well, but I thought he looked younger than Marvin. I thought Marvin might also play clawhammer. I saw A. C. Overton once playing clawhammer though I think of him as a two-finger player.
