English is not my first language, I'm not quite sure if I understood the last clip. The man has discovered a human trafficking ring that sells furniture as a cover. The woman made contact to those people, but she didn't want the girl, she wanted the chair first and foremost. Helping the girl would have just been a "bonus" or rather an annoying task to care of. But when she wasn't happy with the chair, she sent it back. But the girl had to be sent back along with it. And so the girl ends up being sent to an evil person after all just because the woman wanted her money back. Have I understood that correctly?
