I love how comedians laugh at each others jokes. It's not even like they are genuinely overcome with laughter, it's more like they're giving props for a well formulated joke.
Let me sign on to this. There's nothing like the laugh of one comedian appreciating the work of another. Not just the creativity, the craftsmanship and delivery often do it. Watch Jeselnik tell the Prison Story to Kimmel. It's a beautiful thing to see one comedian laugh like that at the JOB the other is doing
@@noamanm3523 But is this an interview or a conversation? I also agree you rarely see Bill laughing as the guest so Jim must be doing something right. Bill actually was out of words sometimes. It's very rare for someone to leave Bill speechless.
Rattattattatt dude fuck off, im sorry u got ur feelings hurt because jim isn't for the extremest views of Islam and made one of ur favorite RU-vidrs look like a dick head but that religion/all religions make themselves look like moronic idiots fallowing a cult.
@Dave Klonpenberg Fake what? It is very clear to everyone if he wasn't doing comedy he'd be in a strip club drinking his liver away while looking at naked ladies. I think America has saved his life...for a while , anyway.
@Dave Klonpenberg Dude, the guy is a comedian. That's his job is to make people look like nobs. I can't believe you and a bunch of other dolts are taking this so serious. You do realize in the end-Jeffries could give a rats about all this and more, right? Anyway, you keep letting your blood pressure get the best of you, bro.
@Dave Klonpenberg No, what needs to happen is you all need to actually go to a real news source for your news and seriousness. Jim Jeffries is not your man. This outrage is ridiculous and all of you should be ashamed of yourselves for being this upset over a comedian making people look silly; it's what they do.
Dave Klonpenberg you’re fake. Get out of here. lol. Comedy isn’t for you if you’re going to bitch and complain about someone you don’t even really know. Lol.
I love how when Bill starts to get a little too into his anger towards something he stops himself and breathes like "alright Bill take it easy, we've worked on this"
@@eschelar So Yemini is claiming in an edited video that the Jim Jeffries show edited this interview to make him look bad, but never releasing the unedited video to prove it. Yep that's very trusty...
@@Mandred85 I dunno man I just watched it and it looks pretty damning for Jefferies. Didn't his show actually get cancelled just after this all happened too? Dude wrecked his career. Especially considering all the racist stuff Jefferies was caught saying.
people can, he just have to go to a political incorrect show to be able to say his incorrect stupid shit, fucking idiot. no way!... you think jim is a conservative? bahahahhahahahahahahah!! my god, you people are fucking stupid... stupid is the word
This was great! I loved how Bill Burr seemed to appreciate that he was speaking with someone who is just as funny as he is, which has to be an awfully rare occurrence for him. Best of all, he didn't seem in the least bit intimidated, or try to "turn up the volume" and outdo Jim. What a great 17 minutes.
My apologies it was pretty late writing that comment. Idk why I included the word slightly, I guess I meant it more towards slightly different beliefs not backgrounds. Comment is edited to what I actually believe and meant to say.
@@SvendleBerries You think he is uninformed? On another note, knowing incorrect things with interest will lead you to the truth. Most stuff people know is incorrect, it is just the assumed status quo knowledge. Science changes it's own perceptions with breakthroughs all the time, and then you adjust. That means that everything people assumed to be reality was actually wrong, it was just the highest achievement of knowledge in a specific field and assumed to be right because it was reliable enough for its purposes. When it stops being reliable enough there is a breakthrough.
This is what Jim's show should be. Just comedians coming on. Don't need another mock news show. This was great. Hope he brings on Gaffigan, Mulaney, Burress, Louis C.K., etc., in future weeks.
I can watch these two forever. Both of my favorite comedians. There's an overly perpetualized concensus that two talented individuals, working together, will increase the value of a production and that simply isn't so. It's all about the chemistry between them. I'm glad Bill and Jim have great chemistry.
I remember getting these free tickets to go watch this show and be a part of the live audience. I was a big Jim Jefferies fan so i was very excited to go see him in person. We sit down and it's not like we know who the guest are so we expect some random hack go to talk while Jim does the funny stuff. Then the guy who does the crowd work, you know the guy Bill mentioned in the beginning that makes the audience cheer well beforehand he had announced that Bill is coming on and my heart dropped because i was such a big fan. Watching them riff was like a weird fever dream come true. During the taping you'll be surprised how much Jim fucks up his line so we just sat watching him for like 2 or 3 hours. Athough i didn't get to meet Bill, i got to meet Jim and i honestly thought i was going to have a panic attack and i felt he could tell so he quickly closed in and gave me a big hug and thanked me for coming and offered to give me an autograph but all i had was a black baseball bat and he had a black sharpie so he just said "i would sign ur hat but its fucking black" and i laughed my ass off. So he just gave a signature on a piece of paper.
I'm one of the few that read. ( as in past tense) your whole comment and like myself I don't know when to stop commenting I always feel like I need to say something a little bit more like you. I was enjoying it and then I stopped had to go to the bathroom came back and you're still commenting..... I think everybody who has a long comment should get the respect are people finishing the comment and I'm done that was great comment
My question is .... why did you have a baseball bat at a tv show recording? Seems like a safety precaution they would avoid, but regardless very cool story.
Yeah, that's pretty much the same for any TV show taping with a live audience. There's a lot of down time and waiting for the audience but most shows will usually have at least a warm-up act who is a local comedian to entertain the crowd between resets and whatnot. I went to a taping of Norm MacDonald's sports show (can't remember the name now and it only lasted one season I think) and he had a warm-up guy who was really funny but during the actual show taping, Norm would entertain the crowd himself during the downtime. It was great. He had a little mini-golf course setup at the foot of his stage and he would invite people up to play with him I don't know if he did this for every show taping as I only went the one time, but he actually hung around after the taping to meet with anyone who wanted to say hi or get an autograph. It was a really cool experience. I have to say, though, that probably the best taping I ever went to was "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" at Universal Studios Hollywood. I had been a huge fan of his for years and was so happy that he got The Tonight Show finally. They even built him a brand new studio that was unbelievable. It's really too bad they fucked him over so hard but I'll certainly never forget the experience and I will always cherish my T-shirt and mug for the short-lived show.
Tomek Stec Nah dude if you pay attention, Conan always tries to change the subject when Burr gets into the R- rated stuff. Jim Jeffries encourages it lol
@@ericrios1234 maybe because they won't air it if they don't. It'll end up being a clip on RU-vid if we're lucky but we could see it live on tv and then later as a clip
Don't look at the comment section. Like Bill and Jim discuss, it's not about people talking about how great the video is but race and politics. You deserve better than that, friend.
He's louder. He can rant. But its strange when people conflate comedic styles like sports rivals to figure out who has the best taste in comedy as if it isn't subjective. "Bill Burr = White Kevin Hart!!!" which I've heard. How about go to your local open mic and do it. Anybody can.
These two guys are maybe literally the best at a back and forth conversation... making it seem like almost a polished stand up routine! This clip is insanely phenomenal.
I'm watching from a tube plugged into the back of my head from a free employee neurolink upgrade I got back in 2045. It is really nice, now I don't have to choose what to watch because the boss chooses for me and I never have to remember to carry cash, just plug my head into the Coke machine.
This has to be the best Bill Burr interview I have seen. no pc crap, no "polite" laughing but no laughing, no stupid obligatory questions, we got to hear more than one sentence a time from the host and it was actually funny and interesting. He finally met his match. :)) And you can see on Bill's face that he is actually pleasantly surprised and seems like he relaxed a bit, which is quite rare :D
Two of my favourite comedians together just talking... Never really knew what to expect but the respect between two outspoken gentlemen can't be beaten.
I've never seen anything like this! Talk about chemistry! They are both equally as funny, with neither one trying to upstage the other. Just a casual banter between 2 comedians, where each one really gets and appreciates the other.
@@DeviantDeveloper Jim Jefferies is from a developed country other than the good old US and A. Aka he's not a conservative Republican douche. Catch up with the rest of the developed world.
when i saw that there was an interview with these two having a conversation. Jesus ive never clicked on anything quicker in my life. and it was everything i expected. these two should have a podcast
@Jim McCracken finally... I've been reading these comments like how doe people not understand he is trash and literally stole bills joke about the internet 5:30
Provided bill is one of the greatest comedians alive right now, Jim is a great host: he provides his personal (and hilarious) stories, and never ever interrupt his guest when they are talking. I love Stephen Colbert and all, but their interviews never create a natural flow like Jim’s. The back and forth is super satisfying for the audience, cuz it’s not led just by the host’s pre-written talking points.
I've just been chain-viewing one Bill Burr video after another. I'm supposed to be doing something productive, but, the guy is addictive. That said, I liked how Jeffries chipped in with his own jokes - it was more of a give-and-take. Good stuff.
Bill Burr is a national treasure and will be the next George C. He will only be appreciated when he gets old because his style fits with the old grumpy man
How did this turn into a Carlin hit piece?! The fucking guy was named the best Stand Up comic ever in existence, and Bill will probably spit in your face if he heard you say he sucked. Besides Carlin never described himself as a good comic, but a decent writer. His performances were that of a preacher, one that preaches his writing! Besides, while Burr is decent, top 5 popular stand up comics in the US, probably even NA, he still can't hold a candle to Stanhope! That guy is a fucking treasure. Burr's life is 50% American football, and most people with intellectual inclinations that listen to stand up as a mean towards exploring philosophical ideas from the head of people that travel a lot and therefore truly have their finger on the pulse of the world, tend not to give a flying fuck about football, or any other sport for that matter. A waste of time, and a waste of opportunity to explore other more important venues. And as proof, he doesn't even talk about football in his stand up, just in his podcasts and TV appearances. Because he knows no one cares!
Bill and Jim should tour together. They're chemistry is great, it's fun seeing Jim make Bill laugh and vice versa. It's like seeing uncles from different sides of the family meeting and hittin it off 😆
Jimmylikestodance -You’re seeing the difference between a host that’s still a stand up comedian as opposed to a host that did stand up over ten years ago or isn’t a stand up comedian at all. Doesn’t hurt that his style of comedy is that “I don’t give a shit what you think of me” type of comedy.
The Fare Player Here in Asia, it would be difficult to get to be entertained by Bill Burr other than by internet, only because he is delightfully offensive.
