It's a real shame that politics has become a simplistic black-or-white conflict for so many people, when that's clearly not at all reflective of the reality which is far more complex and diverse.
The mere fact that Bill Burr showed up to this morning show is comedy in itself. You can just see in his face that he's having a shit time being awake this early. It's early morning and he looks run down already, he's slumping on the couch, his shirt's unbuttoned all the way down his chest, and he just can't keep the cynicism out of his mouth for 10 seconds.

I love how he's entirely aware of the host's agenda to try and to stir up tabloid talk, and completely comadeer's the show. He shot down almost every single question and steered the conversation wherever he pleased. What a fucking master.
Over these past few years I think he's gained my #1 spot of comedians, to be fair I haven't heard a ton I'm not that well versed in stand up, although I do really enjoy it, Mr. Burr just has a way with connecting to his audience I haven't gotten from other stand ups, I realize it's all ultimately subjective tho
@@suf3799 the Catholic Church won't publicly acknowledge when a priest sexually abuses little boys, and instead they will silently relocate them to another diocese acting as if nothing ever happened. Bill is comparing that to killer whales that kill trainers, so the water parks will relocate them in the same manner
@@suf3799 Burr was referring to the killer whale called Tillikum, who killed two handlers and one visitor of several SeaWorld parks. Tillikum was transferred to a different park each time it killed someone, but they kept it as a show orca regardless of its behavior. The Catholic Church allegedly does the same thing with its priests and bishops: they molest little boys in one congregation, the crime then gets covered up by the Church and the priests are then placed somewhere else without repercussion.

Then she is seen smirking and giggling to herself when he made that killer whale analogy. I know how these politically correct types operate, especially television hosts. Bill Burr decided to go with the analogy in the first place because he realizes he is on television, and they know it too. You need to learn to read between the lines. Not to mention that the scandals about priests isn't that unknown.

i grew up with this show on as my mother yelled to “get ready”-a very Christian; Catholic area and the target dem isn’t USUALLY up for that talk in the morning. but that conveniently keeps us at low level thinking; ignoring facts, realities, and solutions.
