@@A2121-h3b thank you another wise observer who doesn't just say booo to Sam's voice, once you focus on Sam's gift for the gab/ content, you can see his natural cohesion with most guests
@Secret Stash I'm with you on some of those. Though I wouldn't put Griffin in front of Pryor, or Chris Tucker in front of Louie or Katt Williams, but each to their own
I love at 23:03 when bill starts trying to teach Sam how not to seem completely unlikeable. Lol it’s worth a shot but you might be barking up the wrong tree there pal
all i got out of this entire conversation was stay single and dont get married, even at 50 it doesnt change. and im 37. so marrying a hot 20 year old as a 20 year old and at least fucking a hot chick is already out of the chart. so really they arent offering much more as they get older lol
I actually love the fact that they’ve made Bill a regular - or rather Bill has made himself a regular - on this show because it never feels forced and it’s always a nice loudspeaker listen when doing some chores or making a meal
hes done over 100 episodes with jim on o&a over the past 13 years. hes been a regular for over a decade lol. but hes only their when hes on tour. he use to live in ny now has a house in california and just a apartment in ny. it cost so much to live in new york especially the hotels.
@@hamschh that's true but when you work as hard as he does and live at the other end of the country and be a dad to his kid it's understandable. Wish he would cut back a bit though as would be great to get him on more often. Maybe a cellar table reunion with Jimmy, Vos, Bob Kelly, Colin and Keith
He´s lost over 30 fellow comedians over the years, so... Thankfully he´s an emotionally strong guy and he has his wife and kid to comfort him if he ever gets sad.
This was a great 40 minutes, that entire thing with bill giving advice how to win an argument will be a TV show if he doesn't get on it. Someones gonna rip that shit off
The fact that Bill Burr has a strong marriage is saving the world of comedy, and potentially a lot of younger comics that look up to him that would never find their way. Otherwise it would just be a world of total screw ups.
The one at 5:28 ? I noticed Bill is engrossed in telling the story yet so smoothly and without thinking deliberately about it, slides the microphone away from his mouth to give it a more realistic yelling-it-from-the-other-room effect. Masterful microphone skills.
Ace Storms the way he talks sounds kinda angry sometimes even when hes not. thats why h3h3 couldnt handle him. hes just a realass dude with a coolass wife
23:06 as a bonus, Burr's advice is really solid acting advice 39:28 She's right and you're crazy! You have a problem that's driving you crazy, you share it with the person you've decided to spend your life with, and who is actually willing to listen to your problems and solve them with you. That's how a healthy relationship or partnership works!
During interviews with people who weren't regulars on O and A Jim should do the interviews because he is a celebrity that everyone knows but I've noticed Sam takes the lead and I don't understand why he has to talk so much......it's annoying!!!!
Bro NY was a total shithole before it got gentrified I don't understand everyone complaining about how it got nicer if you want to live in a piece of shit dirty crime ridden city move to Newark! Me personally I like riding in subways that aren't reeking of piss and covered in graffiti. For you to say you liked it better when you couldn't take a train to Brooklyn without getting mugged makes you just as fake as the hipsters
The english dude he's on about drinks no more than most British blokes. Im English and before i quit drinking there was 2 nights a week i didnt drink. Through the week when i was out id average 5 or 6 pints and on a Friday and Saturday night id sink from 8 to 12 pints depending how i felt. That was a long time ago though as my last drink was December the 31st 1999
@Gabriel Godina yeah Patrice would continously give bill shit for being the person hes turned into. But who knows if Patrice was still alive maybe bill would have never turned into this softer marshmallow of a man. I still love him though.
