Jerry is a great clean comedian who does observational humor from the safe side of life. Laundry, parking spots, paying with a check. Bill Burr does the same thing, but the darker, more real side of life that Jerry wouldn't feel comfortable doing.

That only suburban white people relate to. Which is why I will never consider Jerry to be the greatest. Maybe a pioneer of clean comedy but not that great. Most people can't relate to the whiteness of Jerry's stand up, in my opinion that is far from great comedy.... George Carlin on the other hand is far more relatable and isnt a square who thinks swearing takes away from comedy.

The fun part about Bill Burr is just that. "You can't do this comedy anymore" and yet he still does it and its still hilarious. You can tell he is just joking and he also doesn't leave anybody out from wrong doing. Its not like he picks on one race. Its Always Sunny is the same way, they keep stepping over the line but because you can truly tell and feel they don't believe it, you don't believe they mean it.
