Epic! It is a tour de force. Of all places for that to happen. Philly is no joke. The only times that I felt my life was in jeopardy to the point that I felt fear (outside of the military) were in Philly. When I say it is no joke I mean it. Best friend I ever had was black, our friendship began on racism. I was in tech school, I took a leave for a couple of months and picked back up with a new class. I walk in, teacher sits me down next to a big 6'4 310 lb black dude. I'm 25 at the time, white boy metalhead, wearing my favorite metalcore t-shirt. The first thing that happens as soon as I sit down: he looks at me, grabs his book bag and sets it down on the table between us and says "This is apartheid". Instant best friends lol Unfortunately, he passed away a few years later.

Lmao. I'm white and I lived in a "haunted house" for almost a year. Yeah, call me crazy, but I was definitely not alone there. Doors slamming, light switches turning on and off, super slow footsteps in the night, pretty heavy stuff...didn't even believe in ghosts before I lived there. A few months in I managed to more or less make peace with the situation. I told one of my black friends about it one time and he couldn't believe me, said he would have moved out and lived in his car the first night. Lol, can't say that would have been the wrong move.
