This video also includes a bit of my own AU I made bc Gravity Falls REFUSES TO LEAVE MY BRAIN. PLEASE. I'm thinking of calling it Apology tour AU or smth? LOL. Basically Bill is confined to a human body and has to get all the Pines family to forgive him or risk going back to... THERAPY, AHHHH. Also my ver of fanon Tad Strange, called Ted Clues is hunting him down bc he survived Ciphers 'liberation' in an alt universe, wacka wacka. If this vid gets interest I might make more. Or maybe I'll make more even without interest. Who knows.

Ah Bill, a demonic nightmare king who most certainly doesn’t feel any remorse for his crimes, his chaos, or those who he destroyed… right? I see one thing about Bill. I think it’s why he put Mabel in that bubble, why he somewhat relates to her chaos, why Sixer is such a sore subject, why he reached for a final deal with Stanley, and pleaded to the axolotl… and why it’s all so sensitive of a topic. Deep down, behind the potential guilt, behind the defiance of his own actions… Bill fears that somewhere, somehow, he relates to our mortality… he relates to humanity. He relates to us… in our weakest moments, we tend to reach out. Maybe literally, maybe not, maybe we want to but never do… but for Bill. I think he’s terrified that he relates to humans. (Apologies this show was my hyperfixation as a kid and I became a psych Major. I know it’s fiction but I love psychoanalyzing. I’m fun at parties I swear-) AND THIS ANIMATIC IS BEAUTIFUL ❤

@Chamomile.Tea31 (I also love psychoanalysing and am an inspiring psych-major, you're fine) I also got that vibe from Bill!! Ever since he 'liberated' his home planet, he's been running away, yet still almost calling out for attention - just like a human. His position as leader of the Henchmaniacs forced him into a role where he needs to be the one in control, the one who can get things done - and what's a better way to achieve that then being the most dangerous and unpredictable being in the galaxy. It's like after he destroyed his home planet, he's convinced himself he's evil, that destruction and violence is fun. And at some point, it became true - Lie until you aren't lying from the thisisnotawebsite and all that. And in the process, he's running from his 'humane' feelings. That which caused him to bubble Mabel instead of, I dunno, curse her skin inside out. Or that led him to offer Ford to join them. And when Bill realises he's having such human thoughts, he retaliates by doing something 10x worse and evil. (Likes Ford, only petrifies Ford, serenades Ford - Wait, why am I doing all this for some dumb human again. Electrocutes Ford!) He likes Ford and Mabels unique wackiness deep down, and he may not realise it but he wants to reach out, to listen to their crazy ideas, help them in their wild projects - and be friends with them. His first instincts regarding them are not something (too) cruel or uncaring (putting someone in a land of all their desires. I mean come on) like you'd think from a seemingly snazzily evil being like Bill who presents himself as cruel, zany, and always one step ahead of you. He's just as human as the rest of us, from guilt to desperate loneliness. That's why it's so fun to imagine him stuck in a human body and forced into a found family with the Pines :D

@@kiaratooDude I can honestly say this is one of the most wholesome interactions I’ve ever had on YT. And RIGHT? “I think therefore I am” kind of thing regarding Bill. He may be the nightmare king but he is also the king of self-gaslighting. He’s all over my psychology books anymore. Doodle here… doodle there😅 He’s definitely a fun character to analyze and goodness gracious Alex Hirsch applying all this lore to a *triangle* is downright… well… it’s classic Hirsch 💀 Also I just realized I never subscribed to you and meant to because DUDE your artwork is awesome.
