Bill Courtney discussed the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting involving Sean "Diddy" Combs, Shyne, and Jennifer Lopez, suggesting that Diddy, not Shyne, was the actual shooter. Courtney, who interviewed detectives from the case, indicated that the woman allegedly shot by Shyne later claimed Diddy was actually the shooter. The chaotic incident began with Diddy reportedly bumping into another patron, escalating into a confrontation involving gunfire. Despite claims that Diddy tried to discard his weapon and even attempted to bribe individuals to cover up his involvement, only Shyne faced jail time. Reuben's claim that Combs fired a gun has been contradicted by several defense witnesses who have said his hands were empty.

Bill Courtney is a great inteview. Real good at talking. Just cuz you lived an interesting life, doesn’t mean you’re good on camera. Lot of rappers, mafia guys and the special forces war guys don’t come across good on camera. It’s an an art.

True however they were allegedly paid off by Diddy to say that which Shyne himself has said and why Diddy tried to bribe his limo driver with an upfront payment of a diamond ring he was wearing and $40k later or some shit only to eventually throw the gun out the window when the driver wouldn’t agree. Secondly, Diddy had a firearm on him (New York had/have strict gun laws, he would've been facing a minimum of 3 years). 3rd, Shyne was arrested running from the club with a firearm... using your logic, why was Shyne running if he didn't do it
