I feel like he's the epitome of a true fisherman, someone like us that goes out and catches trees and weeds (and hats) instead of fish. It looks like he's had a great time doing it to, all while getting paid, so I definitely envy the guy. That's how you do it!
And you can tell just how down to Earth he is...what the heeeelll was that just rolled off his tongue like it does every middle class man that ever was lol

God Bless you, Mr. Dance. You have brought not only wonderful fishing shows to Americans but also shown that you are truly human. Your Blooper videos have delighted us all. I pray you are living the good life and enjoying every day. Thank you for being a true champion of the fishing show hosts. I admire you for your courage and comedy. You are a Great American Legend. Thanks again.
Bill Your the most down to earth guy I've ever seen. You epitomize the real world in which we live. You share the same experiences which we all have had happen to us. You're a great man Bill.
I'm not even much of an angler (especially since I quit drinking) but I always enjoyed watching Bill's show because he always explained how weather, water conditions, etc. made fish behave-almost like a science show. Thanks Bill for some very good memories watching your show Saturday mornings on TNN at my grandparents after my Dad and I would deliver our weekly load of firewood.
ànthony harry I've found simply keeping busy is the best method. Perhaps I'll get those fishing rods out yet...brother in law stocked Dad's ponds with bluegill and catfish.
use to watch bill, roland, and jimmy all the time.... they made bass fishing and bassmasters for me!!... just bought my first ranger because of these guys and still love to watch them whenever possible!!
Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ru-vid.comUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
I used to watch Bill Dance Fishing every Saturday morning, when I was a kid. Loved that man. Now I am in South Alabama, and enjoy Fishin' Time with Crab Claw and Buzz Bait. They're fun to watch too. Most of these folks down here never heard of Bill Dance. They don't know what they're missin'!
I have watched Bill all my life and met him at Watts Bar when I was super young he gave me some tackle. But I truly believe he could tear up a solid steel ball bearing. He is a legend to me though
Bill dance, the greatest private lake fisherman in the world. Never saw another boat in any one of his shows. Lol. My three year old could catch a 10 lb bass on a cigarette butt in the ponds and privately stocked impoundments he fishes.

I grew up watching Bill Dance, Orlando Wilson and Tom Mann. HAAA I have never seen someone lose a fish and catch their hat. That bicycle race was like NASCAR, Pushed him into the wall HAAA. Thanks for posting the videos from California.
My favorite thing about Bill, and the other OG's of the bass world, they actually fight the fish. Nowadays everyone just uses heavy rods and cranks them so fast the fish just skims across the surface like a water skier.
Super funny video of a man that gets frustrated but still positive and expects things to happen from time to time. Made me laugh a lot. Thanks for the post here.
Aw yes Saturday morning watching bill Dance. Virgil ward. Al Linder. And Roland martin. up north at our cabin then going out fishing... Thanks guy's 👍🇺🇸
BILL DANCE!! my goodness you want a good belly laugh he is the man to watch Holy cow I am deceased 😂😂😂 every time I watch him it's like the first time dayd gumit
The time's! With Mr Bill's luck I was waiting for the other Pole to go a flying.😀. But seriously such a great explainer/entertainer. Out of all the show's and how many bloopers there are when the maths Done Mr Bill's only 12% clumsy so 😂😂😂 all's I got 😂😂😂😂🤗 love you Bill
Bill Dance is the man grew up watching bill Roland and jimmy and there one of the reason I love fishing all are funny as hell and they teach you at the same time.
dadleyblane5 I dunno if he's a pro, he comes across as an idiot. His lures are never secured to the pole, and I've never seen a fisherman who broke so many poles...he just seems to lack common sense.
