@@jpman9795 Teslas Won’t Even Make It Around The Track Lmao Combustion Engines Will Live Forever PLUS! Teslas Are Known To Blow Up If They Become Soaked With Water
Wow, I was surprised it only put out about 600hp to the wheels. Those cars drive 200mph all day long. The engines must be built like a tank to withstand that kind of stress for hours on end. Still an amazing machine though!!!
Wow that's awesome I would have thought that it was producing more like 900 hp, sounds really loud and strong, but it's a little older than what's on the track theses days,no complaints a real treat to see it up close
Some Guy but this Taurus unlike most others from that era is a Front Engine, RWD, has a 4 speed manuel transmission and can make 850+ horsepower to the rear wheels thanks to its V8 carbureted engine
Some Guy yes I have and yours is pretty funny. However, I’ve met my fair share of folks who would bash others because the “car of their dreams” isn’t a “generic” supercar. Personally I’d love the same year Monte Carlo in Dale Earnhardt colors
I used to play PS1 Nascar Rumble as a kid, and always used this car during races 🔥 I can't believe here I am years later listening to the real thing! Now I guess this car explains my deep love for loud V8 rumble sounds 😎🔥
i just love the nascar sounds, its just that LLLRRRRRR kinda sound when they slam that petal to the metal, and its true, i would also choose this over a ferrari, lambo, bugatti, mclaren, koenigsegg, and hellcat
i saw where nascar want to run turbocharged V6 engines here in the near future. They said the turbo V6 that they are using for their research and development will put out just as much horsepower and torque as the v8
What I want is for NASCAR to have its own division like FIA, where instead of near-identical stock cars that only look different, I want there to be regular street cars that get modified for racing (instead of built from the ground-up for racing like NASCAR stock cars are). Like how (quite some time ago), cars like the Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec N1 (a variant of the GT-R modified for homologated Group-N racing). Regular cars that can go from the track to the street after nothing more than a tire-swap. And unban AWD/4WD and just let every team make the best damn car they can. From my (limited) understanding, the basic differences between NASCAR and say, FIA are: NASCAR: Everyone gets basically the same car, different paint jobs, and drives in circles. Everyone else: Everyone has a unique car and the tracks are just as varying.
@@SigTheSauceMan If FIA is like most road racing organizations involving manufacturers, everyone brings a different car, sometimes restricted to less dispkacement & HP than the actual street version. Then the faster ones get "balance of performance" penalties like extra weight to further restrict performance that other teams don't quit. Seems like very little racing these days is a few simple rules (e.g. tire size in no-prep drag racing), run the car you built, and if you lose, improve your car instead of complaining.
@@SigTheSauceMan that's exactly what it is, everything is identical except the drivers weight which is still within 5 lbs plus or minus and the cars body style is barely different racing use to be whoever built the best motor and transmission won, now it's pure luck to win I race dirt tracks have for 35 years street stock's and late models we don't have all those stupid rule's it's all about horse power and driver skills NASCAR makes around 750 to 800 HP our late models make 800 to 1100 HP NASCAR has ruined racing
Buy a used rolling chassis online. Then, get with Richard Childress Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, or Maybe Roush Fenway Racing. They sell used race engines and R&D engines. They will usually have no heads, but very capable of turning 600hp, with a little love and minimum money.
Yeah, somebody screwed up! There were a few years the numbers leaned forward, but like you said, this scheme the numbers were leaned back. Curiosities....
