You missed the $500 prop bill in vacation. Also, in regards to interest I bank with Sofi. They allow you to create vaults or categories within your savings account. So when it pays out the interest the total interest gets divided by them automatically and deposited into that vault.
I am waiting until my house budget says I can order you big binder with the envelope holders I will need as my savings grows before putting the money in the bank. I have looked all over and just could not find the size I need until I saw this video and it's exactly what I need to order.

My high yields savings accounts allow me to create pockets, and I have a pocket for each sinking fund and the interest go straight to each pocket so I don't have to do math

I used to move the interest to a separate category in my binders/trackers. I wanted know how much I made in interest alone. 🌺
Your bill condensing videos are always so satisfying to watch 😍. So proud of how far you've come 😢. To answer your question I allocate the interest i earn to specific envelopes depending on my goal. I'm saving for an iPad so all the interest goes there. When I purchase the ipad the interest will go half into savings and half into my investment account.
What I do with my interest in my high yield savings account is have it deposited into its own separate bucket so I can track it and occasionally move it to a specific task. Once I move it over I track it.

For example, how long did it take you to get the college fund over $20k? Do you have debts? Did you start out with debt and pay that off to be able to allow you to save a lot of money?

When you turn on the camera it’s very different than you sitting at home doing it alone. It’s hard to explain. Forgetting a place holder isn’t due to counting faster. When I’m recording, I have a lot going on in my mind, so it happens. I’m not worried about it.
