The older gentleman singing bass, was the legendary George Younce. George was in the group, The Cathedral’s. He was a fixture at almost all Gaither homecoming’s. He died several years ago.

How a Gaither Video tapping works is you are in the theatre for about 5 hours, plus this was done at the same time the Christmas concert was taped where David sand O Holy Night. Same Theatre.

The older gentleman in the brown suite with the low voice is George Younce. George Younce and JD Sumner had two of the lowest ranges in gospel. Bill Gaither wrote the song, Sinner Saved By Grace as a testimonial song for George Younce and when George sings it you can just tell he loves the Lord. I HIGHLY recommend you look it up.

@@claytontwilliams6096 , before George Younce was with the Cathedrals he was in the gospel group called The Blue Ridge Quartet. They started in Raleigh, N C but moved to Spartanburg, S C. Younce joined this group in 1956 and left the group in 1964 to join the Cathedrals.
