Bill Haney revealed that he was shot five times, suffering injuries to his back and arm while he was in his car. Although he struggled to specify exactly what precipitated the violent episode, Haney described the confusion and inconsistency of police officers' information regarding his assailant. Landing in the hospital was an undeniably pivotal moment for Haney, who recounted the fear of not making it through the ordeal and pondering the question of what would happen to his children.
