Yes! Bill's music should always be listened to an album at a time! Yes! Bill's music should never be background music - it's Front Line music! And Yes! Bill's music should be played in challenging circumstances, I prefer it while driving on the highway at escalated speeds while maneuvering through meandering traffic. :D
Oh yeah, legendary Bill Leeb. He's totally right. FLA music is for small crowd, who really ready for challenge and explore rich world of sounds, and don't following modern commercial pop influences.
Bill Leeb is one of the most interesting people. I have been in love with anything Bill Leeb affiliated since 1990. I was 20 years old, then. From FLA, to Delerium, Pro>Tech to Intermix, if you have the chance, listen to his entire discography. Go to DISCOGS DOT COM and search Bill Leeb.
That's why I always liked and could appreciate FLA. As you get older it does become more challenging to become an active listener instead of passively accepting everything. "How did they do that?" was always something to look forward to.
thats a really cool way to use that handy recorder. youve got two mics, facing in opposite directions. makes so much sence to use it that way. you can still mix it stereo. or double it or whatever. great idea.
