I’m livid because during this whole campaign Israel has gone above and beyond the normal standards of transparency. We’ve seen them try to divert the civilian population from combat and soldiers have actively aided with hospital evacuations. Maya Angelou’s quote “If someone shows you who they are believe them” works both ways here. The international community needs to bear this in mind when Palestine and the Islamic world call for intifada.
No other country evacuated millions of people to safety. IDF does not target civilians Hamastinians don't wear Uniforms often. Teenagers with guns shooting are not innocent civilians either . Gazans voted for Hamas support them cheered during 9 11 and Oct 7 and collaborative with them. I lived in Israel.

It should be noted that the Palestinian people voted in Hamas to govern their territory. I understand that not all Palestinian people want to be under Hamas rule, but the fact remains. Take a look at some of the videos/interviews of "regular" Palestinians (on You Tube) prior to Oct 7, 2023. The vast majority were not willing to accept a two-state solution. This war was the other option.

Maher was always a good and reasonable person, he is one of the few who is always open to a fair discussion, even if he has a complete different opinion on a topic, thats a quality most others (on both sides) completely lack.
I visited Israel many years ago serving in the R.N. I took an organized bus trip to see more of the country. One side of the road was green and lush with Fruit trees and fields of grain. I asked the guide, why was the other side of the road so barren and dry. He told us that it was Arab land and they believe that if God wants flowers in the desert then God will put flowers in the desert. Well that told me that believing in such a powerful God deprives a person from working hard and improving their lot. Compared with other places of urban warfare over the last 90 years or so, the civilian casualty rate in the Gaza war has been low. It even looks a bit low for overall combined urban/open country warfare. And that's taking Has.' inflated claims at face value. Obviously they've been greatly inflated. It's all they've got, the hope of getting the world to believe their number. It would be negligent for the leadership to state the real number, lest it amount to an admission of defeat.
