half of this film is a lot of filler, but scenes such as this and many others are brilliant and poignant. Various scenes in this movie goes from comedic, to dark comedy, to a point of a tragic, endless hell you cannot escape from.

@@WintersWar what scene do think was filler? Maybe him going to the movie for the 100th time but it does inform us how he’s spending his time which fleshed things out. And he was showing up with a ridiculous cosplay, he’d probably feel too embarrassed to do that in the regular world, but not in a repeated world. So that’s probably not filler because it shows how his situation effects his behavior. Also being filler is different than being riveting. Something can be filler and riveting, or not filler and not riveting.
