I think companies are just money hungry. Where do they think ideas come from? They mostly come from other people. I don't think artists set out thinking, I am going to duplicate that song. If anything, other musicians should feel honoured that someone appreciates their talents.
So, if you break the copyright lawsuits... like a college student, because copyright infringement is not brought up until you go to college. We only learn about copyrights while we were in school, not college. In fact, we barely write or print out the other ones in school or college.
