That's not 3 cushion billiards as stated in the title but gathering shots for free game.

I'm a beginner learning to play 3 cushion billiards and 47/2 billiards. What system are you using in 3 cushion billiards?. I've been watching you played balkline and 3 cushion billiards for a couple of years. I'm learning to play some position on the billiard table, however, when drawing the billiard ball it comes back with too much speed. I've noticed that when you had drawn a billiard ball in balkline billiards it barely kicks the object ball(s) away. I know it takes a very long time to master the art of drawing a billiard ball . I would like to practice that technique. Thanks.

I'm a beginner and I'm confused on what ball to look at last before making a shot. Do you look at the cue ball or object ball last before shooting a shot? I'm missing a lot of shots looking at the object ball. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
