Yep, definitely a fallen angel analogy. And also hell on earth cause she was talking about how humans basically have not taken care of what the earth has given them and fucked it all up. "Man is such a fool why are we saving him?" she fell into an oil spill at the start of the video, "hills burn in California" talking about climate change and also people's greed "You know i'm not your friend without some greenery" which at the end is the main cause of most of the planet's destruction. Keep up the Billie reaction, so many gems to get too, really enjoying them.
Billie is also an artist visually. You REALLY should watch the Apple+ documentary about her. It’s over 2 hours long and is called “the worlds a little blurry” (a line from her song ilomilo). You learn so much more about her and really get to see her as a person and how real she is. How special she is.
She needs to be in a movie? Well..let me tell you something. Billie may be involved in some way - we don’t know yet - with a new Amazon Prime series called “Swarm” - a Donald Glover creation (aka childish gambino for those that don’t know). He is a friend of Billie. I’m thinking she’s either in the series doing a cameo? Or possibly has new music made for the show? We shall see when the series starts on March 17th.
You are spot on about her visualization. She directs all her own videos now...not this one but I think all the ones since "The Party's Over". I think her best directing effort is the video for "Happier Than Ever". It's also one of her best songs and there's also a behind the scenes video on RU-vid showing how she did it.
The video dropped in September of 2019. Her birthday is in December. So she was 16 when this video was made. A few months after it dropped, she turned 17.
Also seeing that you are interested about the visuals of her art it would be dope to see you react to a video on her channel titled : A Snippet into Billie's Mind (Artist Spotlight Stories) where she kinda explains how her mind works regarding her making the visuals
love your reactions! i think you should check out Lana Del Rey, I would love to see your reaction to one of her songs. Born To Die is probably the best to start with!
The videos appeal to you visually, but I get the sense Billie's music has little appeal to you. When she peforms this song for the American Music Awards you get the song without the visuals. Thinking she should go into actiing could be understood as a way of saying - from your perspective - that the visuals engage you, but the music doesn't. If that were true, there wouldn't be anything wrong with saying it. I believe most of Billie's fans follow her for her music and also do find the visuals intriguing and creative - but if they followed her primarily for the visuals and not the music, she would have far fewer followers/fans and artists like Adam Lambert, Teddy Swims, Kelly Clarkson, Lewis Capaldi, Wynona Judd, et. al. wouldn't cover her songs.
