I love how even when she has injured herself she tried her best to carry on. That’s a good performer

Actually, I was there. In the beginning, the first time she went off stage we had no idea, we thought it was part of the show. The second time she ran off, I remember we were all a bit shocked, and the immediate rumor you hear afterwards was just everyone asking each other "what is happening?" There was a bit of silence then, when after a minute or two we all just started chanting Billie to cheer her on, let her know it was okay. As she said, she rather not do a show than give a crappy one, but honestly, we didn't care if she sat down on a chair without moving at all. We just wanted to be in the same room as our idol, hearing her sing. I had flown in all the way from Belgium to Italy specifically to see her perform. I would have been devastated if she cancelled the concert. And she didn't, she carried on. I'm even more a fan of her than before. Even if I didn't get to see one of her 'best' concerts, it made me realize she is SO human too. And she carried on, to not disappoint her. I admire her beyond words for that. We couldn't "calm down" because we were worried for her and at that moment, you just want to say to her 'it'll be alright' but you can't. So you do the only thing you can. You chant in unison "Billie" to let her know it'll be alright this was in response to a comment saying "Ok but does the audience realize she sprained her ankle and is getting medical because they are all screaming Billie Billie every second like omg can u just calm down for a second."

My poor baby, after all that she still gives an amazing show. The best person ever. Glad she’s okay now

After watching the documentary, I cannot think of an artist who cares more about her fans than Billie Eilish. She did not sprain her ankle, she tore a ligament. She had to be carried back onto the stage. She was in serious pain the whole time. But still Billie go up and did some moves - at one stage jumping up and down on one leg. And all the time she was thinking she was letting down the fans! Billie is one very special lady. The best artist with the best fans.

So I saw this before the documentary and I saw it in the documentary and realized that she didn’t just sprained her ankle she tore the ligaments in her ankle which I have done before and mine was only a partial tear of hers was a full tear and I was on crutches for three weeks and she’s out there jumping her ass off and killing it she is a queen

First time I've seen this. She was so upset at not being able to perform properly because of her broken ankle, but the audience just loved her all the more for it, and the way she battled on. You can see there was a point where she just wanted to stop doing the show. But whatever she does, her fans will always love her, and so whatever she does is a triumph! Hope she realises that.

The one thing I think she doesn’t understand is that her fans care about her she doesn’t need to put on a good show for her fans to love her, her fans just love her for being herself and making them happy everyday.

I think she needs a medic, who has emergency orthopedic qualifications, traveling with her during the tour. Given the number of injuries and how active Billie is on stage, it would seem worth it.

Crazy when you think how young she is here. She was like 16/17 when releasing her second album, shooting to fame and having the pressure to perform in front of thousands who paid to see her. That's more pressure than most grown adults deal with in their whole lives so no wonder she broke down.

A true performer - you have to admire her for pushing on through the pain. My admiration for her just upped itself a notch. Well done Billie! :-)

watching this in nov 2020 and I must say... after binge watching every single Billie Eilish content possible on the internet and rewatching this, my heart broke when she hurt herself, but at the same time I am grateful that she was able to sit and watch the love given to her during her entire set. We all just want her to be happy and know how much of a life changer she has been for the majority of us. Much love.

Billie Eilish is just a badass when it comes to her profession she rather be out there with her fans and enjoying being out there performing shes dedicated yet she is only 19 going on 20. She is a trooper!!! Even present day sunday night she really was impressive in her live show.

Thank you for posting this. After watching her documentary and seeing this injury happen from the backstage point of view, I've always wanted to see how the crowd reacted and how she finished the show. I know that she was really upset that she couldn't give it 110% because she wants to make everyone have an amazing time... that's why she performs. But seeing her determination and talent at her live shows... I think she is a huge inspiration and such a strong girl!

I wasn’t really a Billie fan until I saw the documentary. This young woman has the best work ethic and truly cares for her fans. And it’s amazing how this entire record was done in a bedroom in her parents house. If you haven’t seen the documentary you have to watch it, it will give you a new found respect for her. I mean she sprained her ankle which is extremely painful and she sucked it up and did the concert for her fans.

I'm 54 and I can't believe how much I love her music, her image and her as a person(from all the interviews). She is a rare treasure. We need #NIKE or some high-end shoe company to make BILLIE proof footwear so she can enjoy her shows without all those injuries.
