@@ogmickeydiamond. I agree with you. Nothing's ever what we really think in the sense that we dont know what these celebrities are really like. We get small glimpses into their lives for very brief moments that help is form some sort of imaginary puzzle. But you cant complete a puzzle without all the pieces, in this case we dont have them all. I'm not saying there's a lack of theme in her music, there clearly is, but we dont know if that theme is absolutely her right now.

I’m so proud of billie, like 3 years ago I doubt she EVER thought the words she just spoke about hope would ever come out of her mouth but here she is, so much happier and in such a better place mentally. She is GLOWING from the inside out and I’m just so proud of her growth it’s insane and I love her so much

This is going to be what keeps her work “future”-proofed, so to say, it’s really the brilliant thing of that growth she speaks to, it’s so human and the awareness and mindfulness she’s practicing is beautiful, the safety and ability to be alone without in any way feeling “alone” in all its negative connotations. Yet it’s a beautiful thing and it delights me to know Billie is embracing evolution in herself and within and without the world around her, and all of humanity. And the hope necessary and that’s what Billie is so beautifully exemplifying here and it will continue to show and shine in the work and her life. She’s a light.
I know alot of people that probably couldn't function alone. They have never been alone, always been in relationship. I think relationships can be beautiful but personally I am in the growth stage billie was talking about (but I'm like 10 years older than her lol) and I think it's so mature of her to talk about! Women can be independent!
The meaning of the song is soooo accurate to my life rn, I guess many of us during this pandemic are really reflecting and learning to truely be ok with being alone and excited about the future, excited about the great unknowns

It made me cry. It was so beautiful. Applied so much to my own life. My family’s emotionally abusive, I feel all by myself, saving up to move out. Someone at work gave me such an amazing pep talk about their own experiences with bad family members and told me that over the years things will get better and that after getting independence you can build a relationship with yourself. I love this. It came out at just the right time 🙏🏼
This interview is great, haven't seen this interviewer with her but from her with others they really clicked. More personal and a friendship then formal interview. Like he understands the struggles on depression and just being alone and not be like explain this to me, why r u so sad, why do u feel this way blah blah blah but he understood like yeah I get that period. And he can roll with her jokes and just jokes and they can go back and forth. Feels like friends talking and not like hey talk about this and sell it but he knew and understood it and asked deeper questions about it.

I relate so much I always needed somebody else and I put my everything into those relationships but I was neglecting myself and didn't realize that it wasn't healthy.
