I'm not gonna lie i don't like it so much because its not what she usually writes and sings and its different and i don't like it that much but overall its still pretty good
She’s the best pop star in the world . I probably shouldn’t mess with the Swifties but Billie is so much better and is artist that I actually think deserves to be the most popular in the world.
Honestly fucking never had faith until recently, Billie definitely plays a HUGE role in this. I really think this is the best era in pop music in 50 years
i genuinely think billie eilish is one of the only celebrities who didnt fall into the trap of "whatever age you get famous at you will stay that age mentally forever" because she's really grown and it shows.
I was so hoping this new album would be more jazzy. Of course her voice is always beautiful, but I agree with her that she was born to be a jazz singer. Maybe next time as she'll mature so much.
shout out to the interview, she was very attentive and you could tell Billie felt comfortable and was active in the conversation. Excited to hear the album!
I’ve often thought Billie’s voice is old Hollywood-esque so it makes total sense she sees her voice as a jazzy voice! Soooo smooth I absolutely love it
I'm 70 and a long ago hockey player - and the STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ARE ON - I chose listening to this oover over watching the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes [ I will get to that] - as I am a Billie super-admirer [as an aside, Triple j 16 yr. old Billie's cover of Michael Jackson's 'Bad' is classic , it's awesome - try to invite, encourage, entice, her into doing another cover of someone in 2025 for "Like A Version"] - For me as someone who truly treasures Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, S&G, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven - I truly believe, Billie is not just another pop artist, she is a hapax phenomenon - a generational artiste guided by a muse who blesses all sorts of people. Thank you for the interview Lucy Smith and Billie Eilish.
60 & find her music with her melodic voice, her brothers phenomenal mixes & lyrics excellent. I am mostly a classic rock connoisseur. I do like various groups & music mostly in the 90s. B.E. is brining a whole new vibe.
I'm 54 and I think she's the best thing happening to music since at least 3 decades. I was so fed up with that plastic pop and overhyped "artists" just being puppets to make money for the industry.
just listened nonstop the album and never thought I would be able to produce this amount of tears. thanks to you billie i look like shit at work tomorrow, but totally worth it. you touched my heart
I’m very glad to hear she’s trying to face her mental health issues, and get up & out. She went through such a deep depression over the last year. Remember, if you are struggling REACH OUT….
You guys Billie&Finneas are literally one of the truest musicians and incredibly talented, what did we do to deserve this crazyy good album!!!! Love you both sm
The fact she put out her heart with this and said, this is how I feel and who I am, period. This album is so different from everything she's done The lyrics and production Her and finneas? Magic together
Every album she does is so amazing in their own ways. This new album is exactly what I needed at this point in time, it’s almost like she knew that 🫣😆 anyway, I will always support this lady no matter what!! She could drop a beat with her just making noises and I’d eat it tf up. Her voice is so magical.
Only 13 minutes & this is one of the most enjoyable interviews ive EVER watched! All the questions were so insightful & everything ive wanted to know in the past 48 hours! I mean you can tell Billie was really excited to talk about this album🫶🏼
@@strangeranime I’ve been avoiding spoilers SOOO BAD because I wanna have a great experience when listening to it for the first time. I literally can’t wait but I have to admit that im inpatienttttt
It's so crazy to me how much I relate to billie in her journey as a singer. We have similar voices in the sense that they are softer and melodic, and I've also doubted my talent because I can't belt or do impressive runs that well. Thats the main reason I became a fan in the first place. I love the relatability and I love that she's creating what she wants. This album was not my favorite, but I still recognize the growth in her voice and style of creation, and I love that she created something she can appreciate and share with her supporters 🥹💞
just listened to the album live on triple j, along with this interview and im absolutely mindblown by billie and fineas' talent. crazy how they can work with different styles of music, i mean, this one is completely different from the previous two albums, and they're all masterpieces
The interviewer had such great questions, I was getting hyped on every single of them, just cause how passionate she sound about then and how they made Billie react Kuddos to her!!!!
Wow Im 50 not your average billie fan breath control is what I love the most about her singing and she does remind me of a jazz singer and also 30s singing an absolute masterpiece together they make amazing music I hope that billie doing more production doesn't split them (musically) and they bump heads being siblings they are the closest dna even more than their parents I know I have always felt closer to my sister than anyone both my sisters live 200klms away from me but we still hang out together when I am in town After the barbie single I thought it was their best I don't have a favourite one yet of the new album yet I just need to listen to it more They are still young and what's mind blowing is their best might still have to come
So inspiring to hear this amazing artist claim her natural ability in such an authentic and humbling way She is the epitome of how transparency of human vulnerability is the catalyst of phenomenal music that cannot be bound by any time period. Just love her
that was such a great interview with great questions and thoughtful answers. love Billie, love the new album. we are blessed to experience a world with Billie Eilish in it. ✨💙
For those who either don't know or don't recall the year, Billie covered Michael Jackson's 'Bad' for "triple j "Like A Version" on February 8, 2018 - a testimony to teenage Billie's way of hearing music and interpreting it - Finneas is great on acoustic guitar and harmonies - it's a Triple J vision in 2018 of things to come for young Billie Eilish over the next 6 years - thank you to Triple J for all the artists you encourage and support and showcase.
I like Billie's music a lot, but I love her and Finneas's musicality and craft more, and this interview - particularly 10:10 and on - is a great example of why. She's really maturing in her craft, and this album is really really good.
3:29 As someone who is also a big fan of dance music. I appreciated every little synth I heard & every tempo change. 2 of the biggest were CHIHIRO & the 2nd part of L’AMOUR DE MA VIE
billie has been a big inspo from this video. i’m a producer and rapper myself, and i’m going through the same shit, tryna put out what they want when it should be what i want. love the fact she listens to her music while on journeys, i tend to feel the emotions of the song the most like that (driving, walkn round ect) listening to my beats on trains are my fav to do, makes me feel like i can run away
