Got into a relationship with someone who was six years older than me right at 18, he’d known me since I was 16. Olivia rodrigo dated someone way older at my age too and I remember it reaffirming that my situation was okay. I’ve followed since the I’m sorry EP and this was my final straw with both him and the band. even though he’s known for weaving a web across albums, telling a story or projecting a theme and he takes heavy inspiration from story rap we as fans have to agree that this just takes it too far. there’s a stark difference from the surrealist fiction of chip chrome’s story for example and defaming someone or discussing very private real-life relationship details for a song. also be so fr his solo work has always commercially, critically and with fans….failed. his last hit was bloom later and that was many years ago
