Pretty sure I heard this on XM a few days ago!

Comparing the original and this version, they're both awesome. The original gives me the feeling of your condescending, quiet but dangerous bad guy who's already pretty scary, and this one gives me the feeling of a bad guy that will actively put you in your place even if it means humiliating you in front of millions.

No hate to Billie, I have listened to her version of this song once and this one many times. lol It's just so much better as a rock/metal version.

This is a fantastic cover. I'm a bit annoyed at the "Better than Billie" comments. When will people realize that art is art, and can be GREAT and appreciated on many levels and through many viewpoints? I'm a HUGE NIN fan and Trent Reznor is one of my biggest influences. But Johnny Cash did an amazing cover of Hurt. Was it better? No. It was different. Both are great. Same with this song and Billie's. If you all like trashing Billie so much then don't run to listen to people cover her songs. These songs are being covered because the originals are fantastic and INSPIRE the artists to do their version of the song. And when you guys (and yes it's of course mostly men) start trashing the original artist, it doesn't make you bigger, it only makes you smaller. Write a song that multiple artists want to cover, then have an opinion. End rant. Again, really great cover, really enjoyed it. Thank you for doing it. Cheers.
