Billie Holiday at the Apollo: Do Nothing 'Til You Hear From Me (1944) 

Hello once again friends. I know it's been awhile (again). I am currently in my senior year of college and now live in San Francisco. 2018 also marks ten years that I've had this channel and have been making video for you guys which is a huge milestone. I know I've been inconsistent with posting videos over the past few years due to school but it really is my mission to start making this channel active again and restarting the Facebook group and more.
This video is going to be the first in a "series" of video of Billie appearing at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. This is one of the earliest known recordings of Lady appearing at the theater on May 24, 1944 with Noble Sissle and his orchestra. This was originally a WMCA radio broadcast.
