I didn't like how the interviewer spent so much time on her anorexia when it's really obvious that she doesn't trike talking about it and is trying to move on. But I love how she kept talking and I admire her so much for being so strong
Billie Piper is such a wonderful women. She's a fantastic actress and I love her to bits. I have to say that I didn't like how the man kind of kept forcing the questions at Billie cause you could see that she was uncomfatable to talk about her anorexia, but she kept going which is what I love about her. She's such a fantastic, talented, beautiful women and she is such a lovely person. I love her to bits!!
Someone can be a role model to someone without the fan having seen all their works. I certainly don't watch this show, I'm a teenager, but I love Billie and am very much looking forward to her reprise of the role Rose Tyler. She's a very mature and down-to-earth woman who lots of people can relate to no matter who they are or what they do. She, Billie Piper, inspires people to be better and shouldn't be judged because of a character. And, by the way, several lovely actress have played murderers.
You won't find a more immensely inspiring and outstandingly talented Artist back in the day to a truly outstanding Actress and now Film Writer & Director than the stunning and hands on but completely down to earth Billie Piper! A true up and coming ambassador for UK Film drama aswell as UK pop music the World over! 🎬 🎶👍
What Parkinson can do is craft an interview that is memorable. He has been a master for decades at doing so, the respect he has within the industry is such that probably no one else would or could have got Billie to be so open about that part of her life. Yes you can see her take huge pause and introverted thought as audience applauded but ask her herself if it was a terrible experience or another on the road healing one.
Yey i finally have my box set of SDOACG 🌟 Absolutely wrapped Billie Piper ur unbeleivably talented im aware of of 🌹DR W etc etc ur do acalades acalades!!! 🌔🌙
This clip seems to highlight the improvements that have been made in the years since this interview, small though they may be, in regards to eating disorder awareness in the media etc.. Parkinson seems appalling mis-informed!
I would pay all the money I have for her to sing nirvana covers like smells like teen spirit and if they ever make a british version of quantum leap she needs to be in it
PLEASE COME TO AMERICA AND DO SOME WORK! I WILL KNOW YOU OVER THERE! Of course I'd probably die... then I'd be all, "ROSE YOU NEED TO TELL THE DOCTOR YOU GOT OUT OF THE ALTERNATE DIMENSION!!" Then she'd probably laugh :D HOLY DOCTOR I WANT TO MEET HER.
WTF, she is an actress and she's is just playing a role, a prostitue, yes, but that woman wasn't a victim, was her choice, who are you to judge?! she's not hurting anybody, you call her "things" because she's playing a role? really? she got trough anorexia, why don't you tell that to the kids?, she knew she was wrong and she got trough it. A kid shouldn't watch the show if you think is a bad example and no all the parents let their kids watch anything these days.
You're naive - parents let their kids watch anything these days. Also, exactly the point; murderers, prostitutes etc. good role models? If you're having trouble deciding what a good (moral) role model is .. you definitely have problems.
Hmmm ran into this comment if yours from 8 years ago. Honest question I would like to ask. Do you still feel the same way or has age, experience, changes in society, recognition of people's choice in any way altered it??? I know in past 2 decades mine have changed as has the world. I live in New Zealand where prostitution was made legal over a decade ago. Weirdly although still not socially seen as a good thing it's normalised. The law makes it illegal to operate prostitutes as a manager/pimp, they pay tax and it's a legally recognised profession. Still no one wants a brothel house next door.
