I've always believed that manufacturing is the key to success As my father is also a manufacturer and throughout his experience he taught me Trust is the key and do skilled based manufacturing where people should buy your product not just because it is cheaper than others but because of the fact that you and your brand is trust worthy
I really haven't come across any podcast which is as effective and as eye opener as this one. Incredible wiseness and experience Deepak Garg Ji you have.
I worked for Rivigo some years back as a Lead Software Engineer. DG (Deepak Garg), you have aged so much in the last 3-4 years. Please take care of yourself
Honestly....after Mr Rajiv Talrejas podcast this is my new favourite podcast for entrepreneurship...Raj sir is doing an amazing job of education...i just love the podcast... thank you so much for your contribution towards the society
Most of the time when I just go around videos in RU-vid, after sometime I feel guilty for wasting so much time, but watching this podcast, I felt happy as it added some value to me. Thank you so much. 😊
Sad that Rivigo is on the verge of shutdown cz I really liked their motive, good treatment of the drivers, I wish best of luck to this company since so less companies actually upgrade the lifestyle for their employees massively. Even tough I'm 17 only, I also believe there's so much potential in manufacturing and those unsexy businesses, India is not like USA or Europe and that's fine, every country have their own demographic it's upto us entrepreneurs to dig into the system and solve the problems. This is my favorite episode from your podcast.
Manufacturing industry suffering because lot of taxes i working at vendor company of maruti suzuki i know there is struggling about because low budget car
Very nice session Shami, just one suggestion to ask these founders that could help early starters. Try to ask them how to build initial networking or maybe get some initial funding when you are not famous and still just building your product. We all know that it's hard to build a product bootstrapped but how can we get in the notice of other businessmen when we are just starting out. How to get that initial kickstart when you are alone with not background in business.
I am living in Amsterdam (Europe) and I was surprised to see Made in Bangladesh products in this huge brand name Primark (just as pantaloon , bigabazar back in India). This released me how Bangladesh in growing so fast these days.
Bro Bangladesh is sinking.😂 u dont have any idea about what ur talking... Bangladesh was asking India for help few weeks back...and ur saying they r growing fast..
Sir, I am in school(12th) and I am giving a speech about business, finance and another topic. I am also giving business problems to solve but what to do next? And how you engage an audience and perform in college. Please tell me about that.
I mean sure good episode with a lot of insights, but I'll still recommend viewers to look into it with an open mind and don't be a lakeer ka fakeer. Even though the guest is ofcourse an impressive personality but still his company RIVIGO is going through super hard times atm. Who knows they might recover or not in the near future but you guys as audience should be aware of everything.
Generally most podcast or case studies we only talk , discuss about USA brands...even amplify and market their Rockstar CEO's ..but have you ever imagine there are companies in china , japan ,Korea , Indonesia , swedan etc but we always talk about US because it sell easily and they also sold it very charmingly to us. India will only rise while learning from china not from USA... everybody in india is making internet tech product basically Internet bubble....10 min delivery ? India me abhi bhi logo ke pass bahot time hai.
Man we all know India needs this that healthcare, education, tech but why these sectors are still not good as most companies in these sectors are not listed in Stock market & half of those are just poorly managed company only 2-3 tends to make good return for their stakeholders, I know these things sound cool on macro lvl but there are nothing we can get benefit from it (as an investor perspective)
Hey, can you share your reading? How do you gather such research updated and right on point? It would be great if you could share books or resources so that it will be useful for me Or anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship, I feel there is limited data and it is scattered when it comes to indian business field,
Many things do make sense. But how is that what worked for US in 70s will work for developing nations now.. Technology is moving so fast that developing nations won't use what worked for developed nations in the past. Obviously latest cutting edge technologies will be used everywhere, be it the US or India. What matters is who can develop those cutting edge technologies in every sector. That's the deciding factor. Consumers will come automatically, be it India, Europe or US. Only if you get the product right.
The problem with 90% consumer market having less that 20-25-30k salaried consumer is that the market had long been captured by political-mafia nexus and the techie or grade 1 VC or Entrepreneur don't want that type of chaos and competition so they tried in top pyramidal consumers and young generation
In India ppl send time with friends and family rather thn increasing digits for Netflix... Thats foolish measure of growth... We are doing good... We don't need platforms numbers to say we are good or not
Jab tak hum Indians west ke liye majdoori karte rahenge whether it is in IT,Supplychain, manufacturing or ecommerce tab tak hum rise nahi kar payenge... aur UP ka youth aise hi baitha rahega.. kya humare Indian brands international market me China, US,Germany ke products ke saath tough competetion kar sakte ha tab hoga kuch..
