On the Fortt Knox Podcast, Tom Siebel, co-founder of Siebel Systems and C3Iot, tells how he was attacked by an elephant while on safari with his family - and recovered, against all odds.
Ahmed, yes, he is a good story teller, an expert markerter. The real story is; Tom was not on a Safari, but on a big game hunt. The elephant was protecting her young, Tom got too close, the elephant charge, he got what he deserved, the elephant didn't live. Tom likes to shoot defenceless animals. He breeds phesants, on his Wolf Creek Montana ranch, so he fly his rich buddy's up there and can shoot them. Then it's up to his private bar, so these guys can get enterained with tom's custom dance pole. He likes to tout himself as a Montanan, however, he once described Montanan's as nothing more than a bunch of drug addicts and alcoholics. Tom's true motivation for his his philantropic activities, is to market himself, period. He obtained his Woodside property as a result of defrauding the previous owner, once the previous owners attorney's were given a blue print as to how Tom achieved this, Tom had to make a substantial settement to settle the lawsuit and keep it under wraps.
I don't care about the game hunting as long as it's legal and not cruel towards the animals (as far as reasonably ensurable). What I want to know: how do you know, he has a dance pole in his villa and that he defrauded someone? Is there public information confirming it? Is it slander? Is it private, reliable information? Thanks and God bless!
the second part where those guy settled makes me smile. I hope those guy learn their lesson. it's a cruel world out there, good guy don't usually win. some took a huge L and sold their soul cos they are weak and don't have the guts to push all the way.. they have the blue print, should have go for the kill. then again even an elephant can't kill him. let alone those chump that settled
“Well shooting an elephant at 10 yds won’t do anything anyways!” This guy would be the one to fire both shots at 275 yds and the bb’s will feel like a rain shower to the elephant and then as he’s trying to reload his gun the elephant tramples them both. Afterwards his hunting partner will ask why did you shoot both shots with the elephant so far away? His reply would be well the closer he got the less chance I have of hurting the creature!
