Even in the most exclusive, most expensive, most luxurious, a place overrun with billionaires, fabulous sports cars, beautiful women celebrities, and still everyone is glued to they’re damn phones!
That’s such an ego boost for me, to spend $250K on a sports car and drive down the street at 5 miles an hour with arm candy in the passenger seat, to have tourists look at me, so my ego can get stoked. Such a male, uplifting feeling to do! Egads, try to end world hunger or donate the money to Mother Teresa. Do something for society. Half of these men probably can’t afford that ride nor the person sitting in the passenger seat. I learned a long ago, people with real money generally don’t need to flaunt it or want to be photographed in expensive cars.

Снимаешь машину на часок и идешь до казино, чтоб на тебя смотрела толпа. Там больше ничего нет. Как в деревне с5льский клуб. Я лучше поеду на дачу, сажать огурчики. Хотя город нравится, там много растений, очень зелено, чисто, и хорошие дороги на разных уровнях
лет 20 назад в этом Казино тусили представители класса Old money. всё было чинно, респектабельно, на высшем уровне. а сейчас Монако заполонили эти, что "из грязи в князи".. и их жёны, бывшие девицы лёгонького поведения, в платьях в "облипочку", которые, как-будто, куплены на Черкизоне в 90-х... но вот грудь то они вставили, а про попы забыли.. и их уныло висящие попы являются сегодня лицом Монте-Карло, к сожалению...😏

@@gregorygant4242 These people will chase material items of increasing value until it no longer yields any joy to them, leaving them hollow, unhappy and without a genuine source of joy/light. It's no different from the behaviour/path of a drug addict, their lives become darker with every purchase or flaunt. Their main source of self importance comes from an outward display of wealth and where they perceive themselves within society, which ultimately amounts to no genuine value by the time they are old. Pray for them.

@msicreatorz16-z Not all of them. Most have genuinely put themselves in that position or may be their family have also helped them along the way. I don't envy them - but wish I was like them with good friends towing along.
They are not enjoying themselves. The girls are hookers and the guys trying hard too hard represent. You won't find the real rich and powerful from old money at places like these.
The real billionaires never used sports or supercar in especial occasions ,mostly if they're wearing formal but they have limousine and a someone to drive for them.
I would have thought that Monaco is more refined and quiet/intimate. Here it seems suffocating. Don't get me wrong, I would definitely like to have all that but to me it doesn't seem that pleasant because it looks veerry crowded. In some scenes it seems you can barely breathe among all the people that are fotographing you, filming you ( the ones with the fancy cars ofc). I mean it seems chaotic, very crowded by cars and people filming, trying to get closer. Just my opinion, not judging or anything
I suggest, Avoid Grand Prix, Summer Season, Christmas and New Year and friday to Sunday bc a lot of tourist and Supercars from other country arrives in Monaco..
Honestly, I've been going on vacation to Monaco for a few years... and it's one thing if you stay in a hotel or in a nearby town and go to dinner in Monaco, and you're surprised by cars, but going to spend the day in the casino plaza, eating a sandwich while standing up and watching how the rich come and go from the casino or the hotel... I don't understand it.
Some sexy ladies standing there in nice dresses and taking pictures of the cars 🤣🤣🤣. In fact they are "gold-digging" ,hoping they catch the eye of some rich guy.
So many materialistic people. Those who are making them famous by filming them, I am sure they'll erase those videos later. Never glorify material things. Always be humble and help those in need.

I tend to agree with your general point, but I know, for a fact, there are a fair number of centimillionaires there, doing the 'car catwalk' (even if some of them would rather it be a tad less like a zoo!). Also, some 'billionaires' do this... but very few.

I have a few supercars myself but I'm usually dressed in adidas shorts and regular black shirt. I sometimes get mistaken for someone who just woke up. Low profile if you know what's best. Could be also that I'm private. No need to show off.
Monaco is place for the wealthy. No personal income taxes unless you are USA or French citizen. Great weather. Very safe. One of the few places you can wear an expensive watch, jewelry, etc costing millions $ and not get mugged. In places like London, Paris, Rome, etc hotels, travel agents advise not to wear expensive stuff. No way these expensive cars will get jacked.

Living on a normal income is easier. As a very rich person, you have to have 24-hour security guards around you, every time you are paranoid that someone will kidnap your children or family to get your money, you will not be able to go shopping in a relaxed manner for the rest of your life because you constantly feel like you are being watched. You can only live where there are other very rich sharks and manipulators.
