Bills crumble, lose AGAIN to Chiefs to end season -- What now? 

Diggs standing out there 3 years ago after the afc champion game, screaming in Allens face during the Bengals game and the off-season garbage and today starts the game with a fumble.Then he drops a perfect 60 yard bomb and looks at Allen and says "a little further". We need to give him what he wants and start over at wr. I'm sick of the crap!

Question for Bills fans: If not now, then when? This was arguably the weakest Chiefs team in years and we still couldn't beat them AT HOME! I get the injuries, but the opportunities were there and our players and coach didn't step up.

My biggest take away from the game was Steve Spagnolo made halftime & in game adjustments & Sean McDermott and Joe Brady DID NOT.

Three strikes, you’re out, McDermott. I was livid they started Klein off the street over D Williams, who is an athletic freak. Not having a plan for Kelce is a fireable offense. Last year at the draft, there was a run on WRs, so they settled for a TE. Year before, they trade down for a pass-catching RB (with drop issues). Even if they draft a WR, do they bury him to start the season like they did Shakir?

Wide right lives on!!!! Buffalo I felt had this game. With all we went through with injuries and such we were right in it. I’m actually glad he missed the field goal at the end. With all the time left it would have a hurt a lot more to lose at the end after tying it up. Heart break is never easy. Some guys on this team won’t be back, I thank each and everyone of them for the great memories created even though the we did make it to our ultimate goal. Bass has one job, kick FGs. Lost to Philly on 2 missed FG, blocked FG against Pitt,ogher misses this year, and now misses an easy FG today to tie it. Need a new kicker.

McDermott stubbornly refuses to alter his scheme despite the adjustments made by opposing coaches. He is NEVER going to get BUF to win a Super Bowl. Time to move on.

You guys and this show are one of the few bright spots this season. Right now this is a 2nd tier playoff team, not a championship caliber team. This team needs to rethink leadership at the top ; what competent HC puts Hamlin on a fake punt to get 4 yards ? No knock on Mcdermott’s character - I think he is a great human being. CHAMPIONSHIP decisions are at issue.

In my opinion (and I texted it to friends and family in WNY as it happened), at the time in the 1st half I said if the Bills lost, point back to this series....Bills O-line was dominating and the run game was cruising... so what does the "brilliant" O coordinator do? Dial up 3 pass plays for the 1st 3 and out, handing the ball back to KC in which they march down the field for a TD. I don't understand why the need to going to the air before KC could stop the run game. Bills had the opportunity to drive on down and go up by 2 scores. Of course (as I texted in the 1st few plays); Diggs stunk it up. Opens with a fumble and dropped pass.When KC finally started stopping the run in the 2nd half; the O coordinator kept trying to run it up the middle; right into a wall. Allen played very well, but he should have audible'd off the run plays that were going no where once KC stiffened up. The kicker...he narrowly missed points in the 1st half and squeaked it inside the right post...you figure he would have adjusted before the last attempt. Anyhow, that 1st half 3 and out on the 3 pass plays was the critical series in the game. Obviously, a lot of game to be played after that; but going up a couple scores would have been huge. I said it last year: part ways with Diggs, Davis and Von Miller (I never liked the signing of Miller to begin with, he was a "carpetbagger" trying to extend his career); consider a coaching change, and I think whoever is the strength and conditioning coach; maybe a replacement (too many injuries). I'd also like to see Hamlin gone.... just need to be honest and answer the question "Are we keeping him on because of his talent; or because of his unfortunate medical emergency?". Allen will never win a SB with this team unless the Bill's are willing to make some immediate changes and pivot (should have been done last year). Had the Bills won, they probably would have fell to Balt (obviously, I'd at least like the chance). And the comment was made that that only 4 teams were better than the Bills....I'd add that both the Rams and Packers would have beat them (today). Oh...how did that weather play out in their favor? I still think the taxpayers got jobbed in a open air stadium...and the FG kicker probably makes that FG. But, I suppose WNY is fine with a stadium that generates limited revenue other than on game day. Last, I do applaud the team in making it back from a 6-6.... but maybe if they'd start the season off on a high note and not drop games expected to win, they could avoid being boxed in.

All you have to do to stop KC is double Kelce! Mahomes has no other weapons! Why is this an issue every time we play them! I watch Kelce and he's slow AF getting into his routes and we leave the dude wide open all the time! McDermott has to go!

The Bills had everything they needed. 2 minutes left in the game, Bills had 2 timeouts around their 30 yard line. Diggs wide open underneath on a cross route and Josh decides to chuck it in the end zone. Just run Josh, or pass to Cook out of the backfield. Get the ball as close to the end zone as possible. If they couldn’t get it in, they have a field goal of extra point distance. Horrible decision making again. This team is done; needs an overhaul. No running it back, team too old in key areas.

Also idk if you guys have talked about the cap situation for the bills but it’s really bad. I believe this teams Super Bowl window was slammed shut last night. Mahomes and burrow were just too much for Allen and McDermott. If the organization is smart they’ll realize they are in cap hell and go into a 2-3 year mini rebuild and if they can avoid signing guys like von Miller, maybe they can get one, but I wouldn’t bet on it, not with mahomes in this conference. KC is just such a great organization and a model for every team with an elite qb. They won a Super Bowl in a rebuilding year

RAVENS fan here, I was rooting hard for the BILLS, I can't stand the CHIEFS, quick take on the loss... When the BILLS got the ball with 7 minutes left the players should have been instructed to bleed the clock and never let Mahomes touch the ball again. When the player got the ball at 4 minutes and 46 seconds, he should have stayed inbounds to burn the clock. I was screaming when he went out of bounds, that mistake happens because of poor coaching. Josh Allen threw 2 incomplete passes on back to back plays, that's 2 minutes of game clock with the incomplete passes and going out of bounds, MAHOMES got the ball back with 1 minute and 45 seconds left. Don't blame the kicker for missing, blame the headcoach and quarterback for poor clock-management. The BILLS should have scored the game-winning touchdown with no time left or kicked a field goal from 20 yards out because the CHIEFS stopped you from getting the touchdown at the 5 yard line. Coach McDermott lost this game because of terrible situation awareness/clock-management, again, don't blame the kicker.

And it does freaking suck- have to go through another spring and hot, muggy sweaty ass summer to get to next season 7 months from now , and watch them do the same thing again? That’s the question.

There are simple facts to consider: who is responsible for the team roster, for the coaches? You have a generational talent in the name of Allen and you dont do anything big to cover him in the offence! There is a blame percentage for McDermott but why not for GM Bean? The misuse of Josh by this coaching staff is getting so old. Absolutely this was when we want Josh to be the guy making the plays. I just don't understand how this staff misses the opportunities to know how to finish a game. It's like it's totally lost on this staff. The defense was a tire fire. The reason the Chiefs have been so successful and other teams haven't is because they know it's a team effort. And by team I mean everybody from the players to the coachs to the front office and the owners need to do their part. The Chiefs have great people in the front office who find amazing talent in unlikely places and are able to bring these pieces together to make a well oiled machine. Sometimes a part might break down but they are always able to find another part to replace it like they did with Hill. Until the Bills and other teams can do the same, they'll have a hard time being as successful as the chiefs.

McDermott has to go as well as Diggs and the rest of these clowns wasting Allen's prime years!

I know josh had a lot of great plays, but he made two critical errors on his final drive. Didn’t throw the under to diggs, but also had Kincaid open on third to the left before he scrambled right. He needed to be better in the moment that mattered at the end. It sucks - but he shouldn’t have been trying to hit shakir for a td with 2 mins left anyway. The mission needed to be: score a td with as little time left as possible. Then he threw two incompletions.

Gabe Davis was a huge miss for this game , he's an ok 2 with a fairly limited skill set but that skill set was exactly what we missed. Need to hit on a early round WR this draft for sure.

This is your clear cut Brady vs Manning situation. Took Brady 8 years to get a ring and was arguably the best QB in the league all those years just couldn’t beat Brady and the patriots. Josh must win this game to be considered on Mahomes level. You had the ball and driving to win you must finish with the win. I get all that happened in the game but the Bills had the ball in their guys hands. That’s what you want forget who dropped the ball who kissed the field goals, what defense couldn’t make stops. Crumble?? We really need to look at all of the injuries in key positions. Yesterdays defense was being held together with duct tape and we were as close to winning the game as losing it. The Bills were a team that did very little to improve the roster in 2023 and still managed to win their division despite the limping D. You cant ask much more from your QB. Two or three dropped passes hurt. I agree that the Diggs era should end and Bills should go after a different top receiver. Plus Von Miller should retire he is not helping the team at all.

Great season for Bills. We all need to take a deep breath and think about how our team came back from the dead and took the defending world champs to the wire.

While both the Patriots' and the Chiefs' dynasties have been marked by great kicking (Vinatieri and Buttker), I've always been a skeptic about the kicking game. It's almost like they stop the game and roll some dice. It's not even like a real football play. It's especially frustrating in games where your offense is having good success moving the ball, you're winning the ebb and flow of the field-position battle, and you're setting up chip shots, but none of them are going through the uprights.

I must have seen a different game that everybody else last night. So many people bitching to run the ball when almost every time they did in the 2nd half the runner would hit a wall behind or at the line of scrimmage. Also in the 2nd half Josh Allen couldn't hit the side of a barn from 10 feet with his passing. Every 2nd or 3rd pass the receiver would have to fall to the ground, jump 3 feet , or hang an arm 3 yards out of bounds to even make an attempt to catch the Dodo bird Allen just threw. Then late in the game he has a receiver wide open crossing the end zone and the blob JA throws is 8 yards too short. Why is nobody saying anything about that??? Even the Chiefs were thinking WTF was that suppose to be....
