Allen was playing against a top 3 defense with undoubtedly the best secondary in the league. They are disciplined enough they aren’t gonna miss those bad throws. Dak does it with a cake walk nfc schedule every single year. It’s not the same

303 divided by 19 is about 16. These are Brett Favre's career INTs divided by the number of seasons he played as QB1. So throughout his career he averaged about 16 INTs per season then tack on his fumbles lost (about an average of 4 per season). So this is about 20 turnovers per season. I've said from the start Josh Allen is Brett Favre 2.0 with running ability (and no fraud charges). There'll be sky high highs and very deep lows with Allen just like with Favre, this is just the price you pay for a player like this, he'll give you the most epic wins and most soul crushing losses.

Josh is a bit too aware of his talent, it makes him overestimate what he can do in some situations. I don't think it's premeditated, It's subconscious. He thinks he can throw it further and more accurately than he actually can, or that he can run over most people. I think he needs a sports psychologist, he has to learn when/how to hold back a bit.

I’m old enough to remember the beginning of last year when Acho and Shady said Josh Allen was better than Mahomes. This game isn’t an anomaly-this is who he is. He had one great season in 2020 and a good playoff run in 2021 and everyone thinks that’s the guy they’re getting and not the one from the other 4 seasons. He makes bad decisions and he’s too reckless. And yeah, Bills fans will tell you “He accounts for 87% of the scoring!” Great-is that because he has to though? Or because he’s reckless and makes bad decisions? “Oh, he only has one receiver!” Fine, his receiver is as good at the position as Kelce is at right end and Dawson Knox is as good a tight end(or better) as Juju is a receiver and Mahomes won a superbowl. Plus, he always has at least a top five or top seven defense. “His O-like isn’t great…” Joe Burrow took the worst O-like in the league to the superbowl. This is who he is 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yea Brett went to two Superbowls but they failed to mention he won his first with a Superteam that had the number 1 ranked offense and defense that was filled with Reggie White, LaRoy Butler, Andre Rison, Keith Jackson, Mark Chumura, etc while beating a mediocre Patriots team.

@@m42679 That's only last year. In the 8 playoff games that he has played in, Josh Allen has a passer rating of 99.6 while throwing 17 TDs and 4 interceptions. The Buffalo's Bills' defense usually ranks near the top in opponent's PPG during the regular season; but in the playoffs, they have given up 38, 42 (vs KC), 31 (vs Miami). They've also given up 24 (vs IND) and 27 (vs CIN); but I understand how hard it is to stop teams from scoring in today's NFL, so I don't consider those too bad. Although Josh Allen has his flaws, there have been play off games where he played well enough for them to win, but his defense let him down.

Josh Allen threw the same amount of interceptions as Dak last season yet all we heard about was Dak, and they still praised Josh Allen even after their early playoff exit last season. Give the same energy. Josh Allen is good but highly overrated. While Dak is underrated and disrespected. Allen will lead the league int’s this season, watch.

Exactly, Joy saying the Bills are a better team even with Aaron Rodgers. Really did she not watch the game? Acting like the Jets didn't just rush 4 linemen almost every play and get pressure almost every play. Or that Breece Hall averaged 12 yards a carry. Or that the Jets special teams returned a punt for a TD. If they had Rodgers the Jets most likely would have blown them out.

Josh Allen was NUMBER 1 for MVP for the first 8 weeks last season. lighting teams up won agaisnt the Chiefs and Ravens in close games. He got injured and took a big loss against the jets and it went a little downhill from there. The Jets are starting to become his kryptonite and thats ok. He has another game against them. The division games are always going to be tough. Ask the Chiefs when they go up against the broncos, ask the Bengals when they go up against the Browns. Bills fans loved seeing seeing their team blowout the Dolphins and Jets well now those teams are getting better, they're tired of getting blown out. So buffalo just has to adjust. Blueprint was in the first half for Josh. He will see it. Its ok to have a couple bad games just dont have them in the playoffs Josh. I know he'll be good. Let all the people waiting for Josh to become a bad qb keep hating, bc they're gonna have to wait forever.

Josh Allen looks much slower runs with less power than previous years. He reminds me of Cam Newton when his body started breaking down. The hits are adding up fast and taking its toll but his mindset is like a pitbull he ia fearless.

As a jets fan I have to go with Shady. Josh is still a top 5 QB. He will bounce back. I get he has his the defense but the jets ran all over that defense. Bills all together have to play better not just Allen especially with the whole AFC being stacked.

This is a really good debate on Josh Allen. Here’s my take - the Jets have an unbelievable defense and we’re in week 1. Defenses will always have an advantage over offenses in week 1. Josh is going to be just fine - like Joy. Great takes from a the panel. Love this show 🔥💪🏼
