I agree. Whoever asked him this question already knew the answer and just needed a clickbait response. You don’t trade the second best player on your team and get better. It’s just like the Tyreek Hill trade. The chiefs weren’t a better team immediately after trading him. It was hitting on the draft picks obtained from the trade on the defensive side that eventually made them a better team, but again; they weren’t better immediately after the trade. If the Bills hit gold on that second round pick, then it’ll be worth it, but it’s one of those things we have to see.

Diggs was no longer worth the aggravation and drama he brought to the Bills. Diggs had made his way off the Vikes, and did it again with the Bills. The drama was too much and no longer tolerable. It was time to move on.

Once the Bills found out is that they could win more games later in the season without Steffon Diggs, the end was near. Their style of play was changed during the season with 2 tight end sets and running the ball more often which did not involve wideout #14 which was why they got rid of him. I have no problem with what the GM said.

Hill was considered the top WR in the league, and still in his prime. Diggs is dropping out of the top 10 with his performance last year. That's why there's a huge difference between what KC got for Hill and what Buffalo got for Diggs.

The plan is likely simple: They will move up in the draft (possibly BIG swing) because they think the WR they are going after is under rated and will spend the picks to get them. Same mindset as grabbing JA and Edmunds. Even better, if their swing isn’t a triple or home run, and maybe the rookie needs another year, or worse is a bust… Well they have massive cap room to make off season moves for a Diggs 2.0 (someone proven but under utilized by a team)

Y'all are acting like the entire team is gone. The majority of the nucleus of the team is still there. Also by the end of last season, diggs was maybe the fourth best player on offense and I can make the argument he was the fifth. He lost a step in the middle of the season and was having trouble getting separation. Especially down the stretch he was outplayed by both Kincaid and Shakir in the passing game. As a bills fan we all saw this coming, and we believe Brandon will make the Right moves. This is not a rebuild by any stretch of the imagination. It is simply a retooling.

Look at what the chiefs got for Tyreek compared to the bills and what they got for diggs. A lot different trade. That trade became why the Chiefs defense is very good. You forgot shady when they dumped Sammy and Darby the bills for where they were because of that capital. This team got old and they’re turning over. Don’t forget they develop well. Bernard is far superior than Edmund’s. We still have Milano and Oliver on the inside. They developed the all pro nickel corner and their other 6tb rounder Bernard. Their rookie Kincaid arguably contributed just as much if not more than diggs down the stretch. Rookies can contribute.

It's obvious at this point. Diggs was great with the Vikings and Bills. Cousins has failed to produce playoff wins in Washington and MN, despite having above average WR talent his entire time in MN. Allen was average and inconsistent until Diggs showed up. In my eyes, Diggs made Allen more than vice versa. Diggs will put up numbers in Houston. Expect Allen to struggle this coming seaon if Buffalo doesn't hit a home run in this draft.

A lot of hysteria about Buffalo moving on from Stefon Diggs. I think that process started for the Bills when Brady became the offensive coordinator. Diggs had a reduced role for the stretch run last year, and guess what? The Bills went on a tear and overtook Miami to win the division. Josh Allen would always say Stefon was his guy, but I think he was already done with him. It became toxic in the end and they had to let him go.

How isn’t Shady recognizing it? He’s it’s a rebuild year. That means they’ll have 2 drafts to help rebuild. This year and next year, where they’ll have that extra 2nd pick. Shady really lets his emotions cloud simple thinking sometimes
