Rock-afire Explosion is an animatronic character band that appeared in Showbiz Pizza Place restaurants from 1980 to 1992. The only public Rock-afire Explosion band in the United States is in Barboursville, WV at Billy Bob’s Wonderland. It has been FULLY restored. It looks amazing! Takes you back in time to the 80s to Showbiz. So excited to see this band looking so good. Come along with us as we go behind the scenes with Braylon Giles to see how the restoration took place. This really takes me back to. 😁. My nana loved going to showbiz pizza place with me. I remember being afraid of rolfe, Fatz and billy bob. And now I can't get enough of this stuff. Yes lots and lots of work goes into this animatronic stuff. I was there 3 years ago at billy bob's wonderland. I can't wait now to get back there hopefully again and especially with the whole Rock-afire Explosion show being completely restored to.😁

Yes braylon is such a great tech for billy bob's wonderland. That store is strictly billy bob's wonderland. Of course with the more update showbiz pizza concept with Lazer tag and miniature golf. I seen the go kart lanes that are behind the miniature golf area. Unfortunately the go karts are no longer used no more. The other showbiz store that had under goed the billy bob's wonderland name is where out back steak house is now.

@@vafunseekers they even fixed up more the parking lot. There was a huge sink hole down more by the end of billy bob's wonderland parking lot. And they got the miniature golf looking much nicer. And they update some more of Lazer tag equipment to.😁

@@vafunseekers the bird is looney bird in his blue oil drum barrel. Which had got switched to solid green barrel color in later 80's.

Nice! It is so good, to see that The Rock-afire here at Billy bob's wonderland is finaly getting taken care of, and is now restored, after almost 30 years of horrible condition! And, Braylon is truly the Billy bob's wonderland hero!

Wow! Really enjoyed. I remember Show Biz in Lynchburg although I never went there. Guess I was just a little too old. But as you said, this is a place where a person can be a kid again. Might have to try it! Thank you for sharing.

There is actually a collector that found the full rock a fire from the Lynchburg location in a storage unit… and is currently restoring them!

On one of your videos you mentioned being from the Nashville area. Y’all ever been to the barbecue truck at exit 87 in Jackson? We were on our way to Texas about 12 years ago and discovered it. We had to stop on the way back too. Haven’t been in that area since.

There are several people that I know that remind me of different characters from Encanto. I love that movie! Braylon didn't remind me of Camilo. Now that you say it I'll have to watch the movie again. Braylon was so knowledgeable, friendly, and nice.
