There was something about Reverend Billy Graham, when he preached when I was younger, he scared me and I was running away because the words were piercing to the heart. He always made me think, that this is the real Mccoy, not one of those fake ones. Today, I can listen to him and there is a longing for more. I am so glad we have his recordings. He was a powerful speaker that spoke with simplicity and understanding. Reverend Billy Graham is one of the most authentic preachers in my opinion that touched many lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am so blessed that from my earliest memories I remember watching Billy Graham! From the early 60's when his crusades would be shown regularly on tv. Later I remember vividly reading his book "Born Again". And it is so awesome that now we can see his messages. Billy gave his life to Jesus and he preached the Cross. He took a stand against racism. One of my favorites was when he spoke about the threat of nuclear weapons that the problem was not the bomb but it is a problem with the heart of man. Man built it and man sets them off. I thank God for Billy Graham and look forward to meeting him in heaven!

You know, when I see the massive crowds that flock to those stadiums... I imagine their seats as a screen, to separate the wheat, from the chaff. This man spent his Life, Sifting the Nations with a sieve. And all those who stand, to answer the Lords altar call from Billy.. They are the wheat, and boy I'll tell you, Billy filled the nations with newly sown wheat. I just imagine our Lord Jesus Christ, sitting beside Billy, watching as the seed he had sown, produces much, some sevenfold, some ten fold, and some a hundred fold! Same. Want to hear something amazing? I dialed the telephone number on the screen, expecting to get a recording that said "This number is no longer in service." This was at 2:00 AM in Tucson AZ. Not only did I not get that recording, but I actually got a live person! That number is still valid, and it still goes through to the Billy Graham Ministry. The lady I spoke to assured me she would send me some literature in the mail, and then she said a short prayer for me! Praise God!

As a recovering alcoholic (12 years sober) I now truly believe that it was divine intervention from my precious Lord and Savior, yet still I didn't bow my knee.... Then I got crohns disease 10 years later... At long last I have surrendered my life to Jesus... I have a permanent ileostomy now, but my God has never left me through all....
