Today it is typically associated with money, material wealth or any entity that promises wealth and is associated with greed and the pursuit of gain. Once when asked what one had to do to be saved Jesus replied go sell all that you have, give it to the poor and you will have treasures in heaven then come follow me. I wonder who is humbled for the service of our God. Those that receive their rewards and riches here will have none in heaven??
