The dead played there 57 before trey considered starting a band Billy had played maybe 5 times (one night stands) by then- jerry & company were pumping out 9-10 …on regular basis Not hate on what billy & trey have accomplished …but Remember those that came before 😅 They could’ve just played residencies at the garden Red Rocks & shoreline Ol Jerry would probably still be alive if they’d thought of it

Absolutely iconic MSG moment. Between Billy and Phish - there’s nobody else close to being able to call that room their home. Unreal to see them together on that specific stage!
Between Gamehendge, Mexico, The Sphere, a forthcoming new album, and Mondegreen this summer Trey has had such a landmark year...much respect to The Piano Man for inviting Big Red to share the stage with him at Madison Square Garden! The Kings of New York!
That solo at the end of Television cooks like hell! Wow! This is awesome! Wish I had been there for this one, but decided against it as I’ve already seen Billy twice this year and have two more booked 😂
this made my heart so happy - love billy and love trey. Glass Houses was one of the first rock albums I knew when I was nine and it came out. That second side is really special and this song is an all time fave of mine. Thank you!
It’s about time they put the Phish/Billy Joel blood feud behind them after all these years. The body count was getting far too high for either side to sustain.

All these kids who were too young to see Phish in their 90s Prime are just excited to see this guy anytime they can. I got no problem with it.
@hugh-jasole The kids nowadays are seeing Trey in his prime.I have been following Phish since the late 90s and those guys are just as good if not better now.The shows,the songs,the jams are quite impressive for this point in their career.
@@user-hh9qs8tc1s He may be in a technical prime, but I think that is sort of the problem with Phish these days. It's almost so technically 'correct' that it has lost a sense of swing. I saw them at Nectar's in the late 80s, trust me, Trey was in a far better 'prime' back then.
Who is that guy on guest vocals? He looks like my math teacher and seems to be one second short of falling asleep during his guitar solo. The voice rather thin too.
