That was a really well done, comprehensive look at Lane. I was going to put in the comments how he took full responsibility for the crash - but I'm glad you mentioned it. I had thought around the time of his accident that he was just a cocky POS, but after he got released I saw an interview with him that changed my mind. He's very articulate, exceptionally knowledgeable, but it was really the fact that he owned his mistakes. He's somewhat softspoken, and it seems like that DUI hangs over him like a cloud - it really humbled him. It's difficult to not like the guy. Nicely done.
Great video from a humble position. Thanks so much! Interesting stuff. Good lessons for all of us. Perhaps the best lesson (other than don’t drink and drive) is that there is life even after huge failure and mistakes… it’s all in how we move forward…and THAT is what defines us.
Very nice presentation, and some good advice. In an official capacity, I've had to pick-up the pieces of shattered lives post-impairment crashes - it is very troubling, to say the least.
I met him before his big accident at Bike week in Florida...he was quite approachable...he was doing a meet and greet and a stage question and answer thing at Daytona Harley.
@@canadiansa1nt309 As much as I would love to go for a ride without one on sometimes I always wear one. Not worried about my driving/control over the bike but other people's driving.....
Sorta lame you make this whole video and don't have an opinon on the matter. Any bit of wastching Billy's videos and you'll see he's clearly a stand-up dude who had a serious drinking problem and made a massive mistake.
I find it interesting that you would talk about this American . Just for "clicks" on YOUR channel .. I feel like your riding coat tails for "likes" and "views" I DONT APPROVE OF THIS TYPE OF fishing for views ... you could get a bloody mouth over it . You should have called it "the greatest comeback in human history " ... Not fair what you did for "views" .... kinda of cheap actually ..🇺🇸
