When I first started watching Biker Build Off, I couldn't stand Billy. All those people seemed to have egos. Looking back on that show, he seemed to get a kick out of explaining everything like he is giving a lesson. And this channel is more of that. Favorite bike channel now!
Man it’s great to see a new video brother. I start to withdraw without any Billy Lane videos after a little bit. I wish you had someone to help with production so we could see one a week. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for this one. You take care and stay safe.
Billy, I was 16 when I first saw you and Indian Larry on tv and I always admired you guys. short story I become a lighting guy for rock shows aka a roadie and I toured with Motörhead, and I miss lemmy man and if you would of ever met lemmy he would of loved you bro and been proud you wore a Motörhead shirt!
It's been my dream since I first watched the great biker build offs as a kid to build my own chopper. I built my own mini bike a couple years back and it turned out pretty good for having absolutely no clue what I was doing.
Great Stuff , always great information watching your Videos . Using a D. PEREWITZ video my wife got me for Christmas about a decade back I raked a Stock Springer Softail in my garage using the same type degree finder to kick the Stock Springer out just enough to make it look Cool . Skipped the Front Fender and I added a 240 rear tire Small Tank &Seat and not much else and it looked the nuts ,amazing what a proper Rake can do . Keep up the great education ! Thanks Again
Been a big fan of yours since I first saw you in the build off days, always watch your shows as you are a very good teacher and bad ass builder 👍🏻 love everything you do from parts to complete builds. Shame you haven't got a more in-depth show. But we will take whatever you can give us, bud. Keep it up! Thanks 😊
Hell yeah bro looking forward to the work you put out been a fan since the build off days and been following ever since really love the work and love bro
Old jammers handbook had a page explaining raking, trail and how to figure how much over the fork needs to be to get the look desired. Bought that parts catalog new . Wish I still had it . Anyone remember jammers handbooks? 70’s I believe
Hey Billy, when I saw Blue pull onto the screen my heart lept, good to see you still have George's bike. I sent you a kite when you were away, and you gave me some good advice. Glad you are back at it and seem well. This bike was always my favorite of them all, and the only bike I still ride of all my builds is based on her, and your response to my letter. Seeing that psycho cycles sticker blew my mind again, bet you still have question mark rotors from that batch IL made too.
Good to see old Blue still running and looking good. I prefer the look of the Denver springer over the Paughco, sleeker lines. Looks like this will be a nice build!
I really enjoy your video's. I grew up in NSB and always wanted to meet up with you. I've always appreciated the work you have done, keep it up. One day we cross paths at the old speedway or somewhere.
@@BillyLaneChoppers Thanks very much Billy, that means a lot to me. I'm 50yrs old and retired, so I'm excited to whip up some metal creations, Sincerely ⚡👁️⚡.
Good luck with your new education , I’m 68 and took a basic night class when I was 19 and have use my Welding abilities for my Bike and Hot Rod Hobbies over the years. Your never too old to learn a new skill ,especially Welding ! My Best to you Sir .
I always love how you do the big buell style rear brakes. Beautiful pieces of artwork. Hey do you still have that crazy hubless bike? That thing was insane. All your bikes are so sick.
