That's awesome that someone like Billy with no high scores recognized by twin galaxy gets to hang out with real high scorers maybe they can give him some pro tips.
After listening to Tipsters vids I've changed my mind and I think if you have video footage showing scores weren't put in by alleged mame machines or entered by Todd Rogers with a wink and a nod it would be fair to get those scores back and maybe they should just strip all the unproven scores out across the board for a clean slate so it would be fair to everyone.

I knew people that had him as a teacher in high school and they said he was terrible. My brother ranks him worst in terms of teaching. For context he is a teacher at my school.

Triforce is a hawking level genius at being involved in any sleezy drama that pops up. Talent. I'm glad that goofy parasite exists anything I see he's attached to is gauranteed to be interesting and hilarious yet never a surprise. I'm all for an new triforce focused documentary.
That was SO awkward. Just give him the awful, cringe, self congratulatory gift and leave. I was trying to think of who Steve reminds me of and it hit me. It's Michael Bluth (from Arrested Development). But then it also hit me that this is weirdly like a conversation between Michael and Job. Steve just politely 'uh huh' ing his way through that painful exchange.
He openly apologized to Steve in the King of Kong footage, for how he was treated, people coming to his house, being ignored or shit on at the first live attempt, etc. You could see and tell even in that edited footage that Walter eventually started getting a clearer picture of what was up. He may still be friends with Billy, but that doesn't change the fact that he understood what went down wasn't right.

I loved the documentary. I've seen it at least 12 times and love how it pits Steve Wiebe and Bill Mitchell against each other like Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader. I actually liked and appreciated Billy's part in that doco and when all is said and done, it's real nice to see them talking like this and showing that humanity missing in the doco. I knew Billy wasn't this evil ogre presented in the doco and the older client of his gave it away when she described him. Two greats!

I had the pleasure of meeting Billy Mitchell when he came to a Local Arcade by my home. He had just brought his Son to West point that morning. the owners of the Arcade me my husband etc all spent abt a good 1hr talking it was awesome.
This whole fiasco played out in public, I have every right to judge. 'Integrity Gamer' hopping to the defense of Billy Mitchell and Walter Day, that's rich. That's fine if you like those guys but they come across as assholes.

Sure he is promoting himself but I still think a lot of the ideas Billy comes up with come from the heart... cheating aside, he's not as bad as some people make out.. I know I'm not making the greatest case here... but I just don't get that negative vibe from him like you do with certain people who you just know straight up that they are all about themselves
I find that hard to believe. A genuinely nice person apologizes when they hurt or wrong another person....especially if that person is their friend. Right? I want to believe that Billy did the right thing and that there is a reason we don't see him apologize in this video. Perhaps the person who recorded this footage felt it was inappropriate or distasteful to record something so personal?

Before this scandal Billy Mitchell was crowned gamer of the century, and rightly so. Remember he has held records on multiple arcade games ( not just DK) and is in his own right one of the best arcade gamers ever......long before Mame ever existed. Some sad kids seem to want to wipe all that history out. Whether you like or loathe the guy you can't take his achievements away prior to this present scandal. Perhaps some follk should try and build a reputation for themselves before trying to pull down another. Without Billy Mitchell there would be NO King of Kong and that's a fact nobody can refute. Steve seems to be a nice guy and nice guys come in last, period. It doesn't make it all right to be a jerk, but that's life. End of story. Plus this isn't a staged video in any way, as least as far as Steve's involved IMHO.
I didn't mean to imply that Steve was a willing participant in the staging of this video. Steve was somewhat ambushed by Billy, Walter and a convenient camera man (Billy fanboy).
I wet to Billy's restaurant called Rickeys 2 weeks ago. I waited for Billy to show up and I called him a rotten cheater. Guys, I didn't know Billy is actually a huge dude. He's like 6'4''. He literally dragged me through the front door of the restaurant and out into the street where he threw me down and said if I try to go back inside he'd make me sorry. LOL! That whole documentary was definitely (successfully) attempting to spin things into a good underdog story, and who knows how much of it was simply creative editing.
I'm surprised to see this for a number of reaosns. No.1 Billy's scandal (doesn;t seem to hav eaffected his appearances), No.2 i thought he and weibe were gaming enemies and never relaly meat(well i guess not as i;ve seen other vids of them playing and it seemed liek it was all in good fun). This is still an unextpected but cool vid. Thi sis all so sad in a way becuase of how lame they are. lol. Other ppl would have made money or fame from it these guys are relitivly unknwon compared to other modern gamers...
Billy is number 1 for merchandis, I see some of the good Billy as done with his fame even if most of it is made up, I will probably order some hot source
