Billy Monama is the founder and director of The Grazroots Project and Mayibuye iAfrika. His musical journey began in 1997, leading to the release of his debut album "Rebounce" in 2017. Known for his contributions to South African guitar styles, Monama published a tutorial book in 2021 and received the Distinguished Lecture certificate from USC and Northern Texas in 2022.
Monama serves as the South African brand ambassador for Gibson guitars, Orange Amplifier, Elixir Strings, and Sennheiser.
